Canadian Tire

Satisfied with retail part of the store. I went to the service department for a tire changeover and to remove some fluid from the brake system (the brake reservoir was overfilled, even when the car was cold). My brakes were overly touchy/sensitive. They were competent with the tire changeover. With the brake system they said there weren't going to do anything because the pads/rotors and other parts were working fine. That wasn't my issue. My problem was with how overly-sensitive my car's brakes were. I was charged for a tire changeover (fine) and for a brake check (not cool), when they did not address my initial complaint.

The retail part of the store is clean friendly and well organized. I am disappointed with the Mechanics tho. The service staff are for the most part easy to work with but an oil change does not take an hour to do. They do great work but it takes way too long to do.

Very good selection of sports equipment especially hockey, kayaks, camping stuff and bicycles. Excellent stock of car accessories and mechanical tools. Would recommend this place for quick shopping visits.

Have done oil change here for last 3 times. Its almost 52$ for normal oil change- conventional oil. I should say its not veey timely. They have advertised that it will be done in 30 minutes but never finished in 30 minutes. Always took almost 1 hr for normal oil change. They always give you assessment report and ask you that your car needs some or other things to be fixed. Which is not always true as per my experience. This is my experience at Auto department. Not big fan of it but oil change is cheaper here and that only reason i am going back here.

Typically, floor employees at this store will do whatever they can to avoid conversation. However, the seasonal/ garden centre was excellent today. Thanks for the help!
