Canadian Tire

This is the best Canadian Tire in the Edmonton area. Great selection and prices, amazing greenhouse and garden selection in the summer. Down a star because the service is hit or miss - we have had amazing service and terrible service depending on who is around.

They replaced misplaced tires. Integrity plus. Good call and Thank You to the managers in the service dept.

Very pathetic. Terrible experience I had reserved for tire and rim at this store and reached there as scheduled. I waited for 1:30 hours and the person who took the order came and told me that they only 3 tires. And they were even pushy to sell me the motomaster tires. I was really disappointed. I am a person who not from leduc. I should have booked from somewhere else.

This is by FAR the worst Canadian Tire of all Canadian Tire Stores Nation wide. The store selection is reasonable, the prices are pretty good, but the staff are incredibly poor at customer service. It seems as though the employees have taken courses on how to make the Canadian tire experience as bad as possible. For example, I was in line the other day waiting for my turn to purchase road salt. While I was waiting 2 other shoppers went through the exit and set off the anti theft system. Normally a competent staff person would apologize to the shopper and ask them to return to the till to allow the staff to deactivate the anti theft device. These incompetent and rude employees do not do this, instead they held the shoppers bag and demanded the shopper go through the scanner. This constitutes an illegal search of that person, but the shoppers seem to put up with this. After I had paid for my road salt, I was informed that "someone" would come out and help me get it. That seems reasonable, except after an additional 10 minutes waiting for "someone", I collected my purchase myself and left. What this and many other retail businesses have seemed to forget is that without customers, they aren't required. As each day passes, a new Costco is on the horizon, a Leduc Outlet mall and Amazon is correcting their current shipping problem. Much like Sears, whose biggest problem wasn't shoppers, but condescending staff who were too busy with their chat sessions to help a customer, this Canadian Tire is quickly following suit. So to Canadian Tire employees Leduc, keep treating each customer like a thief, keep being rude, condescending and completely uninformed about the location and price of the products you sell. Continue to treat each customer like they are an interruption to your day and not the purpose for it. We, the "customers", will be happy to shop at one of the many other businesses that sell the products you do. You have no one but yourselves to blame, when you lose your jobs, and the owner losses his business.
