Canadian Tire

Friendly staff but they never miss an opportunity to try & rip you off. Had a gift card the only reason I'd ever go to Canadian tire. They had a cabin air filter for my car on sale. Of course it wasn't on the shelf. I had to see an automotive associate who spent the entire transaction trying to me how difficult it was to change. I told him you just drop down the glove box, pull the dirty one out & pop the new one in. He proceeds to waste 10 mins of my time trying to tell me there was a panel on the floor of the passenger side that needed to be removed. Very difficult, very difficult.nIt was behind the glove box & took under 2 mins to change. Very simple, very simple. I wouldn't let Canadian tire pump my gas.

You guys need to hire more staff I’ve been waiting here from 20 mins only one guy is working then people get frustrated and they get angry on your staff you’re such a big company hire more staff and give good customer service

I called this location yesterday because I saw on the Canadian tire website they offer tool rental at some locations and to inquire at the auto desk. I called the auto desk and asked if they are one of the locations that offer tool rental, before I made the drive out of town, to which he said I don’t know, let me transfer you to my boss, who also “didn’t know”. Customer service and knowledge at Canadian Tire is just abysmal these days.

So Canada Day, not open, but US stores are. Not sure, is this bad or good?nMy biggest issue is they never have advertised items in stock. I don’t know why this store even exists, when ever there is a flyer or sale item I always have to go to Regent.

absolutely horrible customer service. waiting over 10 minutes for anyone to come help us. i had to go find someone and she didn’t even have keys. when i came back to where i needed help there was a worker there, doing something else just rearranging things on the shelf. something that clearly could be done after helping us when it was clear we needed help, AND already pressed the button thing stating we needed help. when she came over she was irritated and rude. didn’t even say a word to us. just terrible service.
