Canadian Tire

I use this store frequently spend a lot of money here. I bought an online set of trailer brakes for tandum axle. Online it said strathmore had them instock online order. So I went ahead and ordered the brakes the day before. With no reply on the wait time of the order which has not happened before usually about 5 hrs normally to get a reply. I thought I would go in the store and check if the items were on the shelf maybe not picked yet. Instead of help I got a guy in the automotive counter not helpful and had a really poor attitude walking off making all sorts of noises. I pointed out I am a customer please treat me like one. There was another great guy behind the counter that was very helpful and explained. That the online orders sometimes need to be ordered into the store and they were not instock at strathmore but in reddeer there was 6 instock. I only do reviews never had ones but this was not what I expected from a local store. The saving grace was the gentleman who explained the procedure

Store is great, but I think the mechanics are overworked. Went in for a wheel alignment and I think he only centered the steering wheel. Appointment was 1:00 and didnt get my car back until 3:30 vehicle still had issues pulling to the left and had camber noise. He didnt print off the paperwork either. I was told the printer wasn't working. Still could have used a pen. Not sure if he broke my cup holder cover or not, but I know I didn't break it and it was broken the day after. I didn't call and complain. It would just get denied anyways. I simply won't be returning there. So... 1 stars. Rest of the shop is 5/5 for friendly staff, cleaned and organized. So, I'll add 2 more stars. But I'm still pretty sour about my car. Hopefully management will improve their garage by hiring more staff and taking the burden off the mechanics. My work was rushed/incomplete and I feel it was a waste of money.

Went in to the store today, no idea where I needed to go. So…upon entering the store I went to their electronic directory. I was looking for a walking pad and had just finished typing this in when a sales associate asked if he could help me. He noticed what I had typed and said “ I know exactly where they are, follow me. He showed where they were, went and got a cart, took it to the checkout and then loaded it in my car. Fantastic customer service is not easy to find these days……. Thank you Thomas… you made my day!!

Always been treated fairly have what you need and good options on plants during the spring and summer same with dirt. Have had good experonce with the auto centre. Its a corporation at the end of the day but again nice to have this option in the small town.

This store is a nice smaller store, but it is reasonably stocked. I made a purchase here and needed to return it, and the staff went out of their way to do the return.
