I give the company 1 star. I wanted to buy several bags of decorative stone for the garden. The website says they have half a ton in stock. Online ordering is not possible, only purchase in the store. However, the store was out of stock and the garden department was covered in snow and ice. I should note that I met one guy who confirmed that he was the manager. He was well-versed in everything and made every effort to help me. For the first time in a long time, I met an employee who has high qualifications and knowledge of the store. I hope this guy will be the main manager of the store. I am sure he will do better than the rest. I give him 5 stars. In fact, the company is misleading about the availability of goods.
Today, I went to Canadian Tire to purchase auto parts for my vehicle. I went to the auto parts department, and since the store was busy, I waited my turn respectfully.nWhen it was my turn, I provided all the vehicle information. The employee brought the required parts and handed me an invoice, asking me to go to the cashier to pay and then return to receive the items.nI was surprised by this process and explained that the cashier area was crowded, meaning I would have to wait again and then come back. I was told this was their system. I was not convinced and asked to speak with a manager. After explaining the situation, I was told that this procedure exists because some people steal auto parts and leave without paying.nI clearly explained that this approach makes customers feel uncomfortable and as if they are being suspected. I suggested a simple and respectful solution: bringing the parts directly to the cashier so customers can pay and leave without issues.nUnfortunately, the situation felt awkward and unfair, especially since I saw other customers being served and leaving without any complications.nI do not accept being treated this way or placed in a situation that feels like mistrust or discrimination. I advise newcomers to Canada, especially those unfamiliar with these stores, to consider other well-known companies where customers are treated with respect: you choose the part, pay at the same place, receive it, and leave without embarrassment.nRespect should be the foundation of customer service, and unfortunately, I did not find it here.

I had a tire pressure issue, so I went to the auto service yesterday afternoon. When I asked about the estimated time, they joked that “it takes forever,” but they actually finished all the checks in about 40 minutes. They found a big screw on the side of my front tire, which is not repairable .nnThe staff was very kind and told me that even though they don’t carry the same tire model, I could simply go back to my dealer since my tire is still under warranty. The dealer would replace it with a new one for free.nnI was told I might have to wait for hours, but everything went smoothly and was finished within one hour. Thank you again!
Fantastic service from the Sports Department Manager, Guillaume.nThere were issues with a mountain bike that we had just bought. He fixed all our problems within a couple of days.nWe were impressed!
