Done donating at 103 donations. Screening staff did me in. Not worth the aggravation or my time anymore.

Been going here since 2010 but lately have had been turned away. Once because my temp was .1 over after drinking a hot coffee and they refused to redo reading, once they couldn’t get the needle in my hose like popping vain, and now because I have an upcoming imaging appointment related to a shoulder tear that has been an issue for 4 yrs. Ive donated several times while I had shoulder pain but now that I have an pending MRI, I can’t donate. If you’re not allowed to donate with a pending imaging appointment then why isn’t this on the questionnaire? I want to donate and they have a need but this is getting ridiculous. The staff is friendly enough but the process should allow for some common sense.

They provide an excellent service to the community, and are staffed with pleasant and skillful workers. I am always treated well, and though I've never had any problems, the way they help those who do is very nice. Shame there isn't another permanent clinic in Hamilton, but as is, this one is excellent.

This place is CRAZY. They gave me an appointment for 4:30 on Friday but are only open until 1:00 on Fridays!

I have donated at this location several times over the years, both successfully and unsuccessfully. I have never had a bad experience with the staff. They have been very patient and gentle, even when it has been hard to find a vein. The place is easy to get to with lots of parking. The office is very clean and well lit. The donation and recovery area both have lots of tv’s to watch, and a good selection of snacks.

Clean, prompt, caring clinic! Staff is very knowledgeable and educated in their field of study. The volunteers are always smiling and positive. Staff are exceptionally experienced and handle all situations head on! Had my first donation at this clinic, and I’m now on my 15th, they make a positive impact on the community, and they make going back a very easy decision!

The staff was very rude, not welcoming except the receptionist with the black shirt was smiling and welcoming. We went for a donation for people who are in need, but unfortunately the staff did not value that and they were giving us attitude and disrespect. There is noway that me and my husband will ever go to this clinic again. Now we are registered with another blood donor clinic. I hope if the manager reads this and does something about it !

This is the clinic I've been going to since 2015. Tried to donate today and was turned off by the experience. The woman at reception seemed absolutely disappointed that I didn't have an appointment, said its the preferred way now, which is fine, but save your thoughts? I'm fine not taking time to donate if you're so bothered by my presence. Furthermore, as I'm sitting waiting to get seen in first step, another woman who I can only pinpoint by was she was wearing a headscarf, actually yelled at me from across the waiting room, "You have to read the pamphlet, honey!" In the rudest tone that my eyes actually widened at the loudness and tone. Beth, who checked me over, was perfectly pleasant but I don't know if I'll return to this location ever again.

First time ever. And the last. Had an appointment, did the questionnaire, tested my blood, then proceeded to the area where they take the blood. The entire place has only women working there, old ones, with shaky hands or not good enough vision. I said let's do the left arm, no good, what about right arm? better. the lady leaves, another one comes and says actually left hand is better. She puts the needle in and misses and hurt so much, I told her get someone else, you had your chance. 30 minutes later, no one showed up so i decided to leave, plus I'm not a science experiment so they keep stabbing me until they get it right. No one even realized that i walked out, that's the kind of awareness these women have, clearly they don't appreciate someone coming to donate blood F that! pain still there after 12 hours. If you want to risk getting stabbed with a big needle until they get it right, be my guest.

Really amazing experience at this location for a first time donor. I highly recommend donating blood here even during the pandemic. So professional, well organized. Total visit was about an hour for my first time. Such amazing staff here who seemed to support each other.
