I have bought from this store for a good amount of years. Sometimes I will go months to a year or two without visiting them but every time I return their service is outstanding. They carry so many different products and their second hand equipment prices are fair as well. What I love about them is that they are passionate about photography and it shows because they are one of the only camera stores in Canada to carry actual photography books based on some of my favourite photographers. Lovely place with very knowledgeable staff.
A big shout out! I ordered some equipment remotely, which was not an easy decision to take given the value of the equipment. But the service was truly outstanding and trustworthy. I would definitely do it again and I highly recommend this place. Can't wait to be back in Montréal and pay these guys a visit. Nicolas
Dealt with Camtec on this occasion I have purchased smaller items in their store in the past just via the internet and they have been a pleasure to work with. Responsive and friendly.
Extremely satisfied with their quick and prompt service in locating a very hard to find discontinued Leica Filter Holder for my Super-Elmar-M 18mm f/3.8 ASPH. Lens. Very happy in their quick response and numerous email replies. Highly recommended and definitely will be shopping locally in Canada for anything Leica!
On Thursday morning I sent an inquiry about a lens. Within minutes I received a courteous and informative response. Within 24 hours I had received my lens on the other side of the country with Puralator shipping included in my purchase price. I couldn't have flown from Montreal to Vancouver Island in less time with the current state of the airlines. My compliments and thanks to Camtec. I will continue my patronage! Top Class outfit.

The worst experience in buying gears in my entire life! I ordered for a Leica M to L adapter and a L plate for Leica SL. They sent me a mail about the Adapter's unavailability only after i checked out! The worst part is, i received a damaged L plate in a pathetic condition. I am thoroughly disappointed
Outstanding customer service from Camtec Photo and especially from Emmanuel. I had a long wait for a new Leica camera and Emmanuel kept me up to date and informed during this process. I will highly recommend Camtec Photo Montreal.
I ordered two items recently; first a leather case and a few days later, a Cooph strap. Both items were processed quickly and shipped the next day. I received both within two days. Very satisfied with the quick turnaround and selection of items. Will definitely be shopping at Camtec Leica Boutique again! Also, was happy to find out they accept AMEX.
Best Leica dealer in Canada, Jean and his staff are truly a pleasure to deal with. Honest and truly the best in customer service. I live on Vancouver Island BC and I still prefer Camtec Photo- Leica Boutique over any of the stores in my area.
