Beautiful place with friendly staff. Sanitary blocks are clean but a bit old and outdated. The pool was clean and water was acceptable temperature wise. Maybe a little cooler than I would have liked. Starting around 8 in the morning construction could be heard slightly but only for a short while. We had a good night regardless. The fellow campers took the curfew quite serious and nothing could be heard starting at around 9:30pm. Water from the tab is drinkable and tasted good. The playground was excellent and my kids really enjoyed it. There are lots of trees and it is quite scenic and we were in the far back with our tent trailer close to the tent sections. We had to book a 4 night minimum. I guess this is to avoid too many changeovers. Ice and wood is available at the office at the entrance. There is a laundromat on site as well but we never used it. The dépanneur was closed due to covid but most of the necessities were also available at the office. We really enjoyed our stay and would consider booking again. Close to everything including a grocery store about 7 minutes ago.
We love Camping Cantley! We had a great time there, the campsites are well managed and quiet. We lost our tablet during the trip but not sure where we lost it until I got call from camping cantley. The kind staff went out of their way to help us to find a solution for us to get the tablet back and we can't thank them enough. Thank you and we will definitely come back!
Well tree'd, spacious lots. Stayed there for 3 nights and the two pools were awesome. I only took one star away as the phone signal was prettt bad. There only one or two spots where a phone call will go through. Wifi was pretty decent although you need to reconnect every 10minutes. Working from home was a bit challenging but to relax and enjoy your weekend. Definitely recommend.
Payed 1100 for approxim tly 2 weeks of camping, was told to have liability insurance, purchased for 300.00 then was thrown out for borrowing phone at office in a panic, had car accident off property No internet for seasonal renters! No cell reception!No refund and they kept damage deposit as well. No damage to site. Scammers in my opinion. Very rude man insulted and berated us at entrance when I came to pack up things. Unbelievable !!!! Super rude.
Quiet. Sites are will shaded but not very private during busy season. Full hookups at most sites w/e/s. WiFi is poor if that is important to you. Friendly staff. Very well maintained. Good laundry facilities. I would highly recommend this campground
I have had a seasonal camp site here for the past 3 years, and intend to continue doing so. It is a great place for my kids. As a family we take full advantage of all the amenities on site. Have met some great people camping there. Both the kids and us the parents have made friends that I am sure we will have for life. The staff are very helpful and easy to talk to. If I was to have a complaint, it would be that some people seem to forget that the speed limit is 10Km/h, but I am sure I would say the same anywhere else.
Smaller sites with no privacy when compared to Provincial and State campgrounds we are used to visiting. Facilities were dated and small, but clean. Site water taps have a lot of pressure which might be fine if connecting an RV with a hose but can be challenging otherwise, don't setup your tent near the potential spray. Unfortunately our neighbour's liked using the one pointing at our site and wet our tent. Location is lovely and quiet hours seem to be respected. Wi-Fi is sketchy.
We had a great time. Lise is amazing the owner and I really appreciate all she and the staff did to make us feel welcome. The site has the hardest mini put ever, so much fun. There is a mountain with a trail so we got in a bit of a hike and the bathrooms and showers were very clean. The pool was not open yet but it is the first weekend they were open. I look forward to our next trip back. Thanks so much for the care we received.
We love this campground so far! We arrived late last night and they were accommodating and helpful. Lots of family activities. Today there was painting for kids and ours loved it. We'll definitely hope to return here again!
We stayed here for two weeks, and other than one set of bathrooms being old and needing some renos, other ones are all newer and lots of showers we had nothing to complain about. Friendly staff, clean pools, nice playgrounds, campsite delivery of firewood, and campsite pick of garbage. Nice touches! The kids even went exploring into the woods and had a great time with the large glacier deposited boulders. Also close to a great waterpark Cascades If I am in this area in the future I WILL DEFINITELY be staying here again!
