Amazing and underrated taco spot! We had the steak, chicken and fish tacos. All which were amazing. I can't recommend their tres leches enough, truly the cherry on top and for 5 bones, it's truly a great dessert .. so great we ended up ordering it twice.Food: 4/5
Love this place. Not a big menu, but it’s full of great stuff. Apologies because my pictures don’t do the food justice. The ceviche is amazing, they have a spectacular guac and salsa for starters. Every taco is great, shout out the server for recommending the mushroom taco, surprisingly good. Best tres leches I’ve ever had in my life.
I was invited here by my Colombian friend as they highly spoke about this place. My review is a neutral on AS IS basis. Honestly when I went to this place, the looks of it were a regular hangout place with high prices. Nothing really stood out to me as I think I observe a lot. The menu is limited so it's straightforward and not overwhelming. We had ordered 2 pitchers of spicy jalapeno margarita to start off with. I joined in afterwards although. Tacos: I started with their fish taco which our server seconded as a good start & that taco was the only taco well worth my buy in my opinion. I then ordered the chicken & pineapple and the pulled pork - My group also said these tacos were extra salty for them too this can be one off instance for that day Tacos were delicious minus the saltiness & ingredients indeed seemed fresh. The jalapeno margarita pitcher was around $75 bucks I believe and I spent like $30 bucks on it as divided by 3 people which I think is super expensive. One taco is $10 and my total came to about $70 + tips. About $80 bucks for 3 tacos & 1 small glass of drink is a lot I believe. Our friend had the Tres Leches and they said it was really really good. Just a heads up, this restaurant does caters to a certain income group and definitely is not a place for everyone. Vibe was cozy but after a point the music was extremely loud for my taste. It reminded me of Yonge Street Warehouse and Mademoiselle immediately. If you want to make conversations you have to raise your voice & risk losing it or may be break into a dance number lol! The table and chairs are pretty tiny and wooden I guess so you have hardly any space to fit in Unless you're thin Overall this place, for me, seemed like another average Toronto place with hyped reviews. I believe it can be done without. The food was definitely nicer but at what cost? My partner was about to join me but I'm glad he didn't lol
Best tacos I’ve ever had! Came here as a big group to celebrate a friend’s birthday Have to try the spicy Margarita The staff was really warm and welcoming!Recommended dishesGuacamole and Chips, Mushroom Taco, Fish Taco, Chorizo Con Papas, Mushroom and Pork Belly
Came here after seeing it on the Michelin guide. We love tacos and although the flavours were good, I don't see what was so commendable to be featured. The tortilla was very thin, flimsy, and didn't keep their structure which made the tacos messier than they should be. They're supposed to be corn tortillas but I couldn't tell from the taste and texture. The brunch item we ordered the one with egg had good flavour and was pretty spicy. The tostada was good too, but could use a bit less of the sesame seeds and the chili sauce. I know this review sounds negative, but it wasn't bad, just overall a bit disappointed because we had very high expectations. Something I did like was how the ingredients are locally sourced! The vibe is also nice.
Great tacos and drinks. Good quality ingredients, everything was delicious. We tried ordering the tres leches desert, but they said the person making them was away that weekend, they tried replicating it, but couldn't as good as him. Appreciate their honesty and not serving something that's not up to their usual standards. Excited to come back and try the tacos I haven't yet, and the tres leches!
My first real taco experience and it exceeded my expectations. LOVED the spirit free margarita. the tacos come loaded and felt stuffed after 3 but still ordered a fourth one. Ordered the guac and chips as well but wished the chips were a little larger.
Loved the chips and guac, beef, and fish tacos. Pina mojito mocktail was amazing!! Service was good. The music inside was really loud so we couldn’t hear one another very well.Food: 5/5
This tacos are extremely delicious with the hand made tortilla and the service was great as well. I’m leaving 4 stars due to the price of the tacos is so expensive they are 9 dlls per taco. The place looks good but it is not high end for sure. I would def come more often if the price was reasonable
$9 minimum per taco is outrageous but they were some of the best tacos I’ve had in Toronto. They recommend ordering 2-3 tacos per person. As a rule they bring one taco at a time. There was some mix up we as we waited over 30 mins for our second tacos to come so they gave us a complimentary shot of tequila to apologise. That was fine cause we were drinking and not in any rush. But at that stage I wish I had ordered a 3rd. The drinks are great, I had a Pina Mojito and an excellent margarita. A nice experience over all, I’d like to go back and try some of the other tacos.
