We went to this place while shopping at Oakbrook mall. As expected, we were tired and were kind of hungry. The time they took to take our order was long but once ordered food was delivered quickly. Overall, pizza was great but not the scampi. Would definitely visit but with time allotted for ordering.
The food was adequate, in presentation and taste. The Jambalaya linguine fini pasta was better than the Carne asada pizza. The dough on the pizza was more chewy than I would prefer for a regular thickness crust. It was not burnt on the bottom but at the same time was not airy or fluffy like a good regular crust should. The service was very slow between ordering to receiving the food. Probably due to the staff shortage there were few wait staff serving many tables.
The white corn guacamole and Tostada Pizza were both delicious. Service wasn’t great. Door hosts were kind of grumpy, and service was slow despite the fact that there were plenty of workers there.
The food here is very good but be aware that the food here is super, duper expensive!!!!! A small pizza cost $18.99!!!! . I had 2 adults & 3 boys. I had to order 4 of the small pizzas & they were still hungry! . I ask for a bigger size pizza but they only have 1 standard size pizza!!!!! I only pick this place because it was a cross from Sandbox VR. I never checked the menu ahead of time! I didn't even had time to take pictures because the boys devour the food so fast! At least they gave us free refills. Parking: Parking in the mall. Wheelchair accessibility: There's an elevator to get to the restaurant in the 2nd floor.
Pizzas were delicious. We tried the Thai one for the first time and it’s definitely something we want to order again. The tortilla soup was a surprise hit. There were a couple things wrong with our food order but Alex the manager swiftly took care of everything and made the situation right. Service is attentive and caring. We will be returning.
We waited for 30 minutes to be seated, there were five tables open that could have fit us, when we sat down we waited another 45 minutes to get our orders taken, that would have been okay if there weren't servers just standing around looking around, they were having one person do the entire restaurant, finally after another 20 minutes we got food that was extremely expensive, and that was mediocre at best, the sauce on the pizza was still cold, and the dough was not fully cooked. Somehow this place has not gotten a food code violation, but it's only a matter of time, I would recommend avoiding this place like the plague.
Staff not very professional. Watching soccer have and singing happy birthday to a staff member and bringing out cake. Staff should have a private place for things like that. A server on break was eating her sandwich at the bar while on her break. Had to wait a while for drinks, appetizer came out first. This place had lost its charm. Other than the food was the same, that was the only good thing.
Still unsure what the hype is about on this place. Subpar food, and very overpriced.
The food is always great. I feel they have a little bit for everyone on the menu. The only issue is the wait time. Sometimes u have to wait a long time to be seated and then another long wait for the food. I'd say if u want to eat in, then go earlier rather than later.Food: 5/5
This place is wonderful. The food here is delicious and the waiters and waitresses are really nice. My only complaint is the booths are very cramped, but I will definitely be back here. Keep up the good work.
