The food looked like it had been sitting around for a long time. The barbecue was lackluster and had no flavor. Since they sell their rub I expected it to have some taste but it tasted like a poor roast beef. Also the brisket was very grey & dry and did not pass the fold test. The sides were horrible and looked like they came out of a cheap cafeteria. Flavorless, mac and cheese. The lemonade was very watered down. Sauce was legit good l
Happy to see this place open back up. The wedges were not worthy of being on my plate. Everything else was on point and delicious. A must recommend I think me are the fries and chicken. The entire staff was helpful.
Food was good. Chicken a little dry, but the spicy BBQ sauce that came with it was great!! Food came out pretty quick. Customer service was excellent!
Take your money elsewhere. Everything was dry & sitting out way too long. The portion of my brisket sandwich was much larger than what we were served for the ENTREE sized burnt ends. They weren’t burnt. Mac and cheese has no flavor. The corn and banana pudding are good.
Food is good just wish the ribs could be a little more tender. I love the spicy barbecue. $35 for two not bad.
My husband and I went last night. It was the best BBQ around the area after trying several in the area. We tried the pulled pork which was super juicy, beef brisket that was tender/flavorful, ribs that fell off the bone, and sausage that was juicy. From the sides, we tried the corn, beans and Mac & cheese. Hands down some of the best corn and beans we’ve had. The staff was super friendly when we talked with them after we finished. Totally heading back.
I had a catering order. It was very easy to order. I needed to make a last minute change on the meat selection and Angela Manager handled it for me. She was very polite and helpful. The food was well presented and good. The sweets platter was worth every penny.
My company has ordered from Real Urban BBQ twice now and loved it. The food was delicious. The pulled pork and pulled chicken sandwiches were tender and perfectly seasoned. The salads were so fresh and high quality. People were walking by the buffet saying, "Wow!" The service was fabulous and both times catering manager Angela went above and beyond for us. Folks were very pleased and so happy to not have the usual sandwiches. They asked that I keep RUBBQ in the regular rotation and I will!
This place is so amazing! Everything here is really on point! Very delicious meals and all. I really enjoyed and loved the food I ordered here the last time I visited this place. Real Urban BBQ is very accessible! They are so easy to find and visit. They are also near other well-known places around the area. The time I visited them, I ordered some of their chicken, fries, pulled pork sandwich, and also a beverage. I really love the quality of their food and I am amazed at the same time by how they prepare and serve it. Really great! The menu here is huge and all of the food is affordable. Everything on the menu can answer and satisfy your cravings. Different comfort food and delicious offers. This is really a must-visit spot! All of their customers here keep visiting and supporting them again and again. And I am sure it is because of their service and excellent staff. Real Urban BBQ has great customer service! All of their staff here is really nice, friendly, and attentive. They are working so fast and always got the orders correct. They really do their job properly and professionally. Wonderful service! I am really impressed with their food here. I would really love to go back again with my friends and family. Can’t wait to see their reaction and know their feedback after trying the food at this spot. Highly recommended! Really a gem here in Oak Brook! Kudos to all of you!
Met a business partner, she cut our brisket perfect and those pickles were a great addition. Mash was ok and the cobbler was better then anticipated. Will recommend and be back and get in touch for catering.
