I came here on a Saturday night with a friend. It was very busy. Luckily we made our reservation online before we arrived so we were seated quickly. I had the Turkey Burger with Sweet Potato Hash and Kale Salad on the side. I enjoyed the burger and the sweet potato but not the kale salad. The dressing is served with the kale salad and it wasn’t tasty to me. The food tasted fresh. It wasn’t amazing but I ate everything.
Went here for a birthday dinner and the menu options presented were a refreshing change from the normal. We enjoyed the spaghetti squash casserole and a turkey burger. Both plates were carefully crafted with fresh ingredients and they were delicious. We will be back to try the pizza!Dine in: Yes
Great healthy flavorful options for the herbivores and carnivores out there. Creative dishes and fresh ingredients. Limited dessert menu. Excellent variety of teas and coffees. Lunch time is quieter but gets busier on weekend nights. Friendly service.Dine in: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: Yes
Everything here was so delicious. The inside decor and vibes was so refreshing and bright. They had many healthy dishes including vegetarian or vegan options which was very appreciated. The servers were super nice and hospitable with any requests we had. Will definitely be coming back!
The ambience was inviting, the food was good, although the portion size could have been bigger. You can skip the burger here, as the patty in our case was very dry. Kids pizza was great, so was the kale salad and sweet potato hash. In the dessert we tried the flour less chocolate cake and we loved it.Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
This is a great choice for healthy options and fresh food. Sadly I had the burger and it was overcooked, dried out and flavorless. Prices were pretty expensive too. Probably won't be going back. Edit: After my review I was invited back for a second meal. Our experience with the food was much more positive. This time I had a perfectly cooked medium rare Korean steak. It was delicious! Updating my rating to reflect. Hoping that my experience with the burger the first time was just a fluke. Thanks to True Food Kitchen for responding and looking to make things right by their customers.
Quality ingredients and skilled preparation yields delicious food. We enjoy our times here. My husband says he had the best Veggie Burger ever. The Butternut Squash soup, Sprouts and Flatbread was delicious.
I would definitely recommend this place to all people who really take care of what they eat, who prefer healthy food, and to all my vegan friends. But, for the others- nuh. When it comes to interior- it is perfect. Everything looks so ECO green, wood, clean, fresh :-. Food looks healthy and it is healthy. Just… it tastes healthy too. You won’t have that feel like when you eat something so caloric that your conscience is bitting you :-D. Can’t say I was delighted with taste of my poke bowl. It was average. Definitely not the place for people who enjoy food, but my vegan friend adores this place!
To celebrate the birthday in the family, my wife took us out to dinner at True Food after hearing a lot of good reviews from her friends. The restaurant is roomy, and each table is set further apart to give social distance. The waitress was nice and attentive, though I didn't get her name. The restaurant is noisy when full and I couldn't hear much above the din. The OG honey, ginger and lime drink was ok, though it was a bit bitter. The starters were good, especially the edamame dumplings and the flatbread.. the entree was ok, though ok, seabass was quite smelly. I checked with the waitress and she said it is usual. But at $31 for seabass vs $27 for salmon, I think it is smelly seabass is overpriced. The whole fare for 4, including 2 seabass, 1 veggie burger and a shrimp taco and 2 desserts and 2 starters came up to $188 before tips. On the whole, a very expensive dining experience.
Love the concept of healthy food in a cool atmosphere. Super dig the playlist too. Everything was pretty good, just a few things like the turkey burger and the added chicken on the salad were bland and dry but I’m picky. Otherwise everything was great. Good to get a break from fried foods and eat something with substance.
