Calgary Assessment Office

The city is run by wasteful bureaucrats charging more as time goes while delivering less/worse services. A decade ago there used to be assessors who were more reasonable in receiving homeowners' firsthand information, discussing and adjusting obviously unreasonable assessment values. Now the whole assessment department is staffed by those who keep on talking but never listen. And of course they can always find all sorts of excuses to brush away all the solid facts you put in front of them. This is the pathetic reality of this society - the ever greedier and lazier public servants doing a deteriorating job. Too bad many voters are too slow to realize that. Instead they blindly keep on voting and feeding the same bunch of bureaucrats, while denying the only chance for the public sector to get better by infusing new blood to replace those counterproductive bureaucrats.
