The service here is great. I went at 8:20 and while the line seemed really long, I went right to the desk when it opened. They come out before 8:30 and clearly explain how everything is going to happen and then efficiently do it. Everyone was friendly and it made getting a passport super easy. I opted not to drive becuase of the warnings about parking being terrible and there is a taxi stand right outside the building so it made leaving super easy.

Staffs are very nice and professional. Had to renew my passport and I went there at 8. Doors open at 8:30 and staffs were already standing right at the entrance to help you. Took less than 5 minutes for the process!! I was out by 8:35! So the only time I had to wait was for the door to open. So I’d suggest go early. Get someone to drop you off or take the train.

I do not recommend going to this passport office. I arrived 20 minutes prior to opening and found myself standing in a long line that extended far down the hallway. The workers estimated a wait time of 30 minutes. When the doors opened we moved in fairly quickly but it felt very busy and stressful. The staff were great- very helpful. Keep in mind you're also paying about $10 for parking.

Most of the staff are friendly including the two security guards at the door. Except the guy that worked at window #2 last week, he had some attitude. We had changed the name legally, so as to get some new document, not only did he question me in a challenging way, he also tried to instill fear in me by saying “I don’t know what the officer is going to do”. When I told him I could provide with a picture of some old documents, he flatted out said “I don’t care” First if he didn’t know, then keep quiet. Second, if he went to work with that attitude, then this job wasn’t the right one for him.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could but unfortunately I can’t. Here’s the thing, my cousin went in and she’s visually impaired, she let the intake worker know about her disability and basically was told it’s ok and we’ll help you out and let you know when your turn is. That never happened. My cousin on her phone has a magnifier app and it allows her to see, especially the queue for the numbers since no one was her letting her know where she is in her spot. A security guard came over and started yelling at her to put her phone away, even though she has a cane to notify that she is visually impaired so you would think this would be obvious to why she is using her phone. she Did explain to him that she is using the app on her phone to see where the numbers are at and when her turn is; he kept yelling at her. Not only did he yell at her but he grabbed her arm. This happened twice . it is very humiliating when you get treated like that. People should educate their employees And have a little more common curtesy and be more compassionate. It was a scene that was totally uncalled for and should’ve never happened. Thank you to the lady that stood up for my cousin and told her to the security guard to leave her alone.
