We went to the passport office today because my wife needed to get a passport in an emergency. The lady who helped us was extremely helpful and kind. They expedited the process and it happened fast. The entire staff were kind and helpful and friendly. I have never experienced such a thing in a government office before. They set the gold. Standard
Applying for a new passport or renewing your passport is definitely an annoying process, as we all know. But I’ve been to the Harry Hays building twice in the last couple of months for my daughter’s passport and mine and I can’t say enough about the positive experience there. The staff are all friendly and helpful and they just have their system down to a t. Yes, you might have to wait a bit due to the volume of people but they are so organized and everything runs quite seamlessly. Do your research of exactly what you need to bring before coming to save yourself having to come twice ie existing passport, birth certificate, marriage certificate, drivers license, signed photos, signed application by guarantor, etc. Anyways, thanks to the team here for making a painful process a lot less painful!
I just renewed my kids passports with Agent Katrina. I read lots of bad Google reviews before I go and I was mentally prepared for a long wait and paid a full day parking ahead of time. To my surprise, the wait time is only about 25 mins then another 20 mins with the agent to review the application. I was told the passports will be ready in 2 weeks. Katrina was very friendly - when I threw a page with credit card information in the garbage can she asked me to take it out and covered my credit card number with white-out. It was a decent surprise. If all Federal services are at this level of professionalism I won't have any complains unfortunately they are not.
Came in this morning for passport application and was happy with the sevice. I can't say it was fast because it was so busy but the service was very good.nnI was amazed by the security man both of them were nice and friendly but the one wearing the hat went above and beyond to do his job. He was so patient, consistent and kind. He even wiped the dust/mud on the chair for the guy behind me. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. Hope you will read this review and know some of us regconize and ackowledge your work.
I had to visit the Harry Hays building January 5th 2026. I was in need of emergency passport as I was leaving the country that night and had not noticed that my passport would have expired before I was to return. It was very busy that day due to power outage. We waited for 4 1/2 hours before we were seen by Hernan?, counter agent, who was extremely helpful. At that time being after 4:00 pm when they were closing. He was able to help get request through, who then Wei, agent processed the request! I was able to fly out of country that night. These 2 people were extremely helpful.
