Was there for passport services Apr. 13th. Showed our number to a security guard asking for an estimate on how much longer the wait would be, he said we were the next “PT” number to be called. 1.5 hour of waiting later, we asked one of the ladies at the front desks who checks your documents at the beginning, she said we were around 30th in the queue. It seems like the employees behind the desk there go on 15 minute breaks every 30 minutes. You started work like 2 hours ago why do you already need a break? I wish my job was that cushy

The Passport office opens at 8:30am. We arrived at 8am and there was already a line up of about 20 people. There are two lines. One for Passport pickups and one for Passports. The gentleman asked us what we were in for and if we had all the proper documentations.nnIf you are picking up your Passport he will give you a post it note and have you line up to the right of the door. The longer line on the left is for new and renewals of Passports.nnHe would ask if you were here for 1 or 2 Passports, and direct you letting you know which counter to go to.nnWe were done by 8:35am. So, just a bit over half an hour. When we got out, there was no line up at all. We parked out on the street, as it is free parking until 9am.

Arrived for Simplified Passport Renewal at 7:50am when the office opens at 8:30. 20 people were in line, however agents split the line into smaller groups. I was out having completed renewal and payment at 8:50. I'm sure the process could be improved; however, I didn't think arriving early that one hour was completely unreasonable for a timeframe.

This place is usually busy and packed and moves with slow pace so prepare your visit accordingly.nnParking is on street.nnServices are good - New Passport, Renewal, Pickups etc.

PASSPORT RENEWAL - great experience, great people. Showed up at 7:45am on a Thursday morning, parked on 3rd Ave, street parking is free until 8:30 or 9.nGo in the main entrance and you'll see the passport office on the righthand side. There was about 20 people ahead of me when I arrived. They open the doors at 8am despite hours being listed as 8:30. I was done and walking out the door at 8:20. Just ensure you come with the application already filled out and pictures ready.nNote: for passport pickup, line up to the right of the passport office doors. They open at 8:30am
