We are known as the Ace of Cakes on Pewaukee Lake! All of our cakes are baked fresh daily in our ovens! We do all sorts of things, including birthday cakes, wedding cakes, and all sorts of specialty cakes! We are located across from Pewaukee beach. Visit our store for more ideas along with the sweet aroma of our freshly baked items! Don't forget our daily specials- Hot Ham sandwich's, and on Sunday- Hot Ham with free rolls. Stopped in for the first time last week just to see what it was about and I've got to say... pretty disappointing. Cakes aren't particularly well priced, and there's no options to get things suitable for people who are vegan/vegetarian/have gluten sensitivities. Most places will work with you and will help you figure out your options, but the lady I spoke to was rather rude about telling me NO, they do not do that stuff. Only reason it doesn't get a one star is because I bought a cake pop for my non-vegetarian friend and she said it tasted great. So there's that, I guess.

Ordered a lion cake for my daughter's birthday, the mane was to be done in cupcakes that were supposed to be filled with pink cream since we were also doing a surprise gender reveal. We had my family and my wife's family over. We explained that everyone would take a big bite at the same time to reveal the gender of the new baby on the way. We recorded this to see everyone's reaction. Not a single cupcake had a pink filling in it. Disappointing to say the least. Contacted the business today and was first offered a $10 gift card despite the cupcakes being $20. The owner then got on the phone. Never apologizing for the error or sounding remorseful. I asked how they were going to remedy this and was again offered $10. I asked how much the cupcakes were and was told $10. I explained that the person I previously spoke to said they were $20. She said she would send me a $20 gift card then. Based on the other reviews I was anticipating I wouldn't be able to get much further. The cake and the cupcakes did look nice. But the incomplete order and lack of empathy was enough to drive the rating down.

Best cake I've ever had and reasonably priced as well. Decorated just the way you want it.

I will DEFINITELY be using these guys again! I called them the day before I needed the cake and they didn't give me any trouble. They designed EXACTLY what I described without even seeing a picture! We got a smash cake and cupcakes and everything was delicious! Furthermore, they were half the price of other bakeries. I highly recommend Cakes While U Wait - they are great!
