Kind of pricey but then everything now a days is. Great rueben. I wish they did their meats in house but they come in a five gallon bucket. Great service and good sides, salads, and deserts. It only takes about 10 Sq ft to brine 50lbs of meat. Seems like a cheaper and faster way to get sandwiches out. After a couple more sandwiches I noticed the microwaving of sandwiches. I'm just saying I've been to New York and those delis are way smaller and they still brine out their meats.

Their Barbecue meatloaf sandwich is belly filling warm goodness you normally only find at your southern grandma's house. The Italian pasta is New York deli tasting all the way. But the real crown jewel is that butter cream on those cakes. There is only a small amount of bakers in the area that know how to truly make a European tasty cake: smooth, light, buttery and Rochester's is one of those very rare places.

Good lunch place. Moderate prices and tasty food. Street parking can be crowded.

Absolutely wonderful food. Great Friday fish fries w/ everything made here including applesauce for wonderful potato pancakes, rolls & coleslaw. Speedy and convenient take out or ordering in advance for pickup. Very reasonably priced. Great bakery/desert options.(Dine-in atmosphere, nothing special.)

Everyone I was with had the reuben and was blown away...I got the egg salad and was still very happy.
