Caffè Artigiano

The lady at the till was very sad and spoke very quietly for the busy upbeat vibe of the cafe. Espresso machine is dusty. Will think twice before coming back.

Yesterday, around 10am, I visited CafeArt for my daily medium drip no room. Paid the 2.65 plus tip and sat by the bathroom 3 tables in with my back to the mirror. I started writing and looking up information on my phone and was enjoying the coffee. Approximately 20 minutes later I felt 2 distinct and itchy bumps on my right fore arm. Having a t-shirt, I easily knew these to be BedBug bites. I haven’t experienced such parasitic bites in more than a year and very much doubt my lodging had anything do with it as I have never been bitten here in 5 years. It may have been a result of using the bus but because I hardly sat down and had removed my jacket upon arrival at your coffee shop I doubt it was from there. To find the now blood bloated creature I pried open the creases in your new leather lined furniture and saw lots of dust, debris, hair and general negligence of care. Please dedicate a late evening or early morning to vacuuming along and an inside the creases of your long 40ft couch. I hope I am the only case of such difficult exposure to bugs at your place. When I got home, I examined all my articles of clothing as I took them off (and the floor too, in case a bug dropped to the ground) and found nothing. If anyone else has experienced the same along that area of your restaurant I hope you’ll do the right thing and clean it. After contacting their website with no reply I’m leaving this Google reviews in the hopes they clean up along the seating area Were it not for the bedbugs I’d give ya 5 stars

Gustavo was demonstrating how customer service must be done. Excellent service, followed by a nice, fresh cup of coffee. They do offer several other beverages, but their coffee is one of the best in town.

Every working day noon to 1pm I have my latte here. And I plan to continue this routine indefinitely. This rates the place to the very top :) Seriously, it is one of the best coffee shops in the city.

Friendly staff and great coffee. Not a huge fan of the rebrand, but doesn’t stop me getting a macchiato here 2-3 times a week.
