Cafe Rio Mexican Grill

When it first opened the food was good. Now the food isn't up to par like it used to be. Rice under cooked on quite a few occasions. Cashier was friendly but the guy who made my last order treated his coworkers rudely. If the standards aren't raised then it will probably become a vacant space in a strip mall. I think management needs to provide better training and the employees that aren't team players let go.

Do you enjoy ordering food to go and paying extra for items that 90% of the time are excluded from your order? If your answer is no, DO NOT EAT HERE. I LOVE Cafe Rio, but this one is terrible. Most of the time, my food order is wrong and it's most frustrating when I pay extra for items that are not given to me. Often times I also show up 5 to 10 minutes after my food should be ready for pickup and it's not even made yet. I live 5 minutes from this Cafe Rio and would rather commute to the Riverdale location. Don't waste your time or money here.

I really feel sort of bad for posting an unsatisfactory review, because the food is pretty decent and tastes great, but they've gotten every order I've made online wrong, or they're often out of food items. Perhaps there's something that could be improved with the ordering system, or they could hire more staff. (Because they always seem busy and overworked and like there aren't enough people to help out with anything - which has definitely led to the place being messy on various occasions.) I don't think I'll be coming back to this location, although I might go to others.

SLOW!! Employees are nice enough, but they are sooo slow... I’m from slc and come to visit family up here and slc, Farmington, Riverdale are all more efficient with the same amount of customers. Plus they’re always stingy on portions compared...

Love Cafe Rio!! However this one was the worst I have ever been to!! And I have gone multiple times. The employees are soooo rude and none accommodating. They need up on orders and arnt willing to fix it. Also forget things and tell you that it's all your fault!
