Old Town Bodega

My fiancee and I had great end to our date night by heading here for drinks. Really cool vibe and beautifully decorated bar. Staff super nice & chill. Tasty cocktails and snacks we had empanadas & chips. Have recommended Oldtown Bodega to our friends and we'll definitely be going back in the near future.

Corktown would not be the same without this gem of a spot. As other reviewers note - this bar is the heartbeat of our community. You’ll often see the owners strolling around the neighbourhood; they are just as friendly behind the bar as they are when you are out midday walking your dog. Beyond that, its all in the details with this spot. Their cocktails are expertly made, and the decor carefully curated, all the way down to the hand written menus. Never change! <3

Had a great time here with friends on a late late Wednesday night. Delicious and thoughtful cocktails, cozy interior booth-style and very welcoming and non-pretentious service. Music choices were chill and not annoyingly loud like in some bars - can actually have a conversation here. I’ll be back!

Grateful to have this bar in the neighborhood but I have to admit I don’t get the hype. The drinks are okay, not much of a beer selection and nothing on draft. I haven’t tasted the food, so can’t comment there. It was quite loud and dark when I went, giving me kind of a pretentious vibe. It’s great that all the bars nearby have local beers, but sometimes you just really want a draft of something common and reliant.

OldTown Bodega embodies the spirit of Corktown and makes you feel at home the moment you walk in no matter who you are. The staff are incredible, and the service exemplary. You go here for the ambience and it never fails to impress! The summers on the patio are great, however it is best enjoyed inside, where you feel like you are in your friends kitchen just hanging out over a glass of your favourite wine/ beer or cocktail. Truly an amazing spot not only for the neighbourhood of Corktown, but for all of Toronto!

Amazing place! From the decor and atmosphere to the incredibly warm and friendly owners, it's a new fav. Loved my latte and brownie too! Cool that there is a barber downstairs, adds to the charm.

Where do I even start? These are my absolute favourite people in this beautiful city of ours - M/M/H/K are a whole different breed, especially when it comes to hospitality and truly making you feel at home away from home - social distancing, duh. Not only are they great hosts, they are great friends, and that’s what makes this place really neat. A real gem in the East End Corktown represent!, and they will always have a special place In my heart. Come for the delicious cocktails, beer, wine, and snacks the takeout Cubano, Sausage, and Paper Planes are to die for - stay for the great people and the even better vibes.

I came here after a chilly Christmas market and it is WAAAAAY more gorgeous and cozy than anything in the distillery! Keylan and Ben were behind the bar and they were so welcoming and sweet! Get all up in this vibe, trust

This place is Corktown's gem! Amazing cocktails and the most friendly people you will ever find are here. Great take-out options and such a refined lineup of cocktails, wine and beers. Always love going here!
