Nemesis Coffee Polygon

August 22 2024n1:30 PMnnBefore posting this, I was considering sending a feedback on their official website to address food and safety concern privately but could not find a feedback space on their website.nnIve visited Nemesis near Grandville area and that branch has a friendly and professional staff, but today, when I visited the Nemesis in North Vancouver behind Polygon Gallery, i noticed some flies on the donuts icing and I informed the lady from the cashier but surprisingly instead of acknowledging my concern, she was so defensive and said “ it’s the time of the year where we get flies moving around and we are trying our best “ and her face looked mad and irritated so I just went out of the cafe. I was expecting a different response like “thank you for letting us know and we are frustrated seeing flies roaming around our pastries, let me take away those two donuts.” The customer service is just disappointing plus they seem not to care about food and safety guidelines. If you are aware that there are many flies or small bugs on the food you are serving, the management should have thought of adding some plastic covers to protect the food.

Nemesis is a top tier third wave cafe that offers great value. Despite the fancy look, the quality of their products are well worth it. It's overly beautifully well built in a funky newer building here in North Van.nnGet a pour over of their own roasted coffee and one of the croissants-muffin treat thingies and enjoy it. In a world where a Starbucks drink can cost 8 dollars, Nemesis is an Oasis where the coffee comes from better places and roasted a lot better than most places and priced reasonably.

Croissant is very tasty, I can say one of the best Croissants in Vancouver. unfortunately, the latte coffee is watery, too much milk too. Service is okay. atmosphere is the next level. very beautiful area, great view.

Nemesis is the most aesthetic and most viral bakery/cafe in Vancouver beyond doubt. It has been on the top of my to-go list. It has three locations, but this particular location in Great Northern Way is the prettiest among all with its unique dome-shaped roof and high ceilings.nnMultiple restrooms, plenty of seatings, attentive service, free parking at the parking lot nearby...I can't praise enough.nnTiramisu Croissant **nMY FAV. It tasted straight up like tiramisu infused in a croissant! It was generously stuffed with espresso and mascarpone cream. The best bitter-and-sweet pastry a coffee lover could ever ask for.nnStrawberry Cheesecake Cruffin*nAll their summer flavored cruffins looked attractive, and it didn't disappoint. When I cut the cruffin, a good amount of strawberry filling oozed out. It had the right amount of sweetness, and the outer layer was crispy and flaky. I also loved the mini jelly garnished on top.nnChocolate Cashew CookienThe cookie was large with nice chew and gooey texture. The sprinkled sea salt enhanced the sweetness of chocolate chips.nnLatte, Flat White, Mocha, Matcha LattenDecent coffee with beautiful latte art.

I really love this cafe. The coffee is amazing. I always stop by to buy some coffee. Really love iced latte. Desserts look tasty. I tried the cookie which is quite nice. The packaging for pastries is so cute. Not so much seat but good atmosphere. Staff is nice.
