Nemesis Coffee is a must-visit spot for coffee lovers seeking top-quality brews. I had the chance to try their Honduras beans, and the flavor was truly impressive! The cup offered a perfect balance of light acidity, rich aroma, and a smooth, sweet aftertaste.nnNot only is the coffee exceptional, but the space is also beautifully designed and thoughtfully arranged. It's an ideal place to relax, work, or catch up with friends. The friendly and professional service adds even more charm to the experience.nnIf you're looking for a unique coffee adventure, this place won't disappoint!
Nemesis Coffee has a vibrant and energetic vibe, and it’s clearly a popular spot—be prepared for crowds, especially during peak hours. I had high hopes for the bakery items, but they fell a bit short in terms of flavor and freshness. That said, the brunch menu was a pleasant surprise. The dishes were well-prepared and nicely presented, with good portions and balanced flavors. While the overall experience was mixed, it’s still worth a visit if you’re looking for a trendy brunch place, just don’t set your expectations too high for the pastries.
They have exactly what I look in a coffee shop! Extremely good croissants that they make on the spot with really good ingredients. You can actually feel that it’s well made and not a cheap croissant. Very good coffee too, Very consistent. Every time it’s the same. Another thing that I really like it’s the location ship yards. You grab a coffee and your pastry and just go by the water with your family/date. The thing that I’m sometimes don’t like about this place:n-too popular and sometimes there is a big lineup and no place to sit.n-one particular lady that normally on the cashiernever smile, trying to rush you with a little bit of attitude. I’ve noticed like 3 timesn-parking it’s not as easy.nYea I know you can’t have it all. Over all I love this place. Keep the hard work people are enjoying it.
Nemesis Coffee Polygonn 101 Carrie Cates Ct #110, North Vancouver, BC V7M 3J4nnFoodnnTurkish EggsnnA combination of smoked sausage, sourdough, labneh, poached eggs, and Aleppo peppernnThis dish was a standout, arriving warm and beautifully presented. The smoked sausage added a rich, savory depth, complemented by the tangy labneh and the perfectly poached eggs. The Aleppo pepper provided a gentle heat that elevated the dish without overpowering it. The sourdough was well-toasted, offering a satisfying crunch that balanced the creaminess of the eggs and labneh. Thoughtfully seasoned and well-executed, this dish was a delight from start to finish.nnRating: 9/10nnBrown Butter Banana CakennMoist, tender, and infused with the warm, nutty notes of brown butter, this cake was a simple yet well-crafted dessert. The sweetness was well-balanced, allowing the natural banana flavor to shine through without being overly sugary. It was an enjoyable accompaniment to the coffee.nnRating: 8/10nnMochannRich, velvety, and served at the ideal temperature, the mocha struck a fine balance between espresso and chocolate. The flavors were well-integrated, with neither element overpowering the other, resulting in a smooth and satisfying drink.nnRating: 8/10nnAmbiancennDespite its modest size, Nemesis Coffee Polygon offers a bright and inviting space. The minimalist yet modern décor, combined with ample natural lighting, creates a comfortable environment suitable for both casual meetups and solo coffee breaks. While seating is somewhat limited, the overall atmosphere remains relaxed and welcoming.nn8/10nnServicennThe service was warm and accommodating, with staff displaying genuine friendliness. However, there was a minor oversight when my brown butter banana cake was initially forgotten. To their credit, the staff promptly rectified the mistake with a sincere apology, which was appreciated.nn8/10nnPricennPricing is reasonable, aligning well with the quality of ingredients and overall dining experience.nnVerdictnnNemesis Coffee Polygon delivers well-executed dishes and expertly crafted coffee in a stylish yet approachable setting. The Turkish eggs were a highlight, showcasing both balance and depth of flavor. While service had a small hiccup, the overall experience was positive. I look forward to returning to explore more of the menu.nnAdvicennSeating is assigned only after placing an order, so be sure to order at the counter first before selecting a table.
We were not satisfied with the cappuccino at Nemesis Coffee. They serve it in a very strange cup with no handle, making it difficult to drink a hot beverage without burning your hands. It feels like they didn’t consider practicality. On top of that, the size is very very small for the price.nnTo make things worse, after a while, they asked us to leave our table and told us our time was up! It was an unwelcoming experience, and we definitely won’t be returning.
