This bake shop is unbelievably amazing! The pastries and cakes are delicious and the owners are wonderful people. I had a mishap with my wedding cake and needed a replacement. My makeup artist highly recommended Butter Lane and they did not disappoint. The design was exactly what I wanted and the flavor lemon cream was so yummy. Everyone at the wedding raved about the cake and I couldn't have been happier. Definitely found my new go to bakery. Just Yum!
Do you love cookies? Because I do! The cookies at Butter Lane Bake Shop were amazing, the best ones that I had in a long time. You should grab some cookies and a cup of coffee to enjoy at the pier.
The cake we ordered looked amazing and was fresh; however, most of us found it overly sweet. This may have been due to our selection though.
I dont know why the reviews are so low and I honestly don't care to read why! This place is amaaaazing! I have been several times and evertime I go I fall in love with the staff and the sweets. I personally am not a fan of sweets but when a craving hits this is my go to now. I got the gluten free, vegan cupcake and I'm niether and it was honestly the best cupcake I have had. . Don't knock it till you try it, and I recommend trying it
Im an event planner and I called Butterlane Bake Shop last minute for a mexican themed birthday celebration.. They squeezed me in their busy schedule & made the most perfect cake AND delivered to me right on time of the day of the event - it was better than I could have imagined! They delivered exactly what i had asked for. My clients were so happy and they said the cake was just as delicious as it looked!! So impressed & beyond happy with the experience I had with this bakery. Will be coming back for more event cakes! Thank you Butterlane Bake Shop!!
I had to visit this place a few times to write a review. First time over the weekend i was there, they had no staff and the pastry i tried were just ok. The second time i went it was a great experience really great coffee the scone was great and fast service. For some reason the third time was better than first but definitely worst then second time the pastry was a bit dry. The coffee is decent every time though and when there are people working they do a good job.
I want to like this place. Their treats look tasty but I've tried them three times with different types of baked goods and each time everything was so dry. I couldn't even finish the cookies with milk. The macarons have very little flavour and are super sugary. I hope they take note and change their recipes or cook times.
Extremely disappointing experience here! I ordered a sandwich and while in the middle of starting to make it at the same time went on to process my payment and the people behind in line as well, but the staff member The Owner btw.. did not wash her hands in between payments transactions & touching money and the dirty card machine.Then off to make 2 coffee beverages on the machine then back to making my sandwich with NO HANDWASHING in between!! Grr...I watched with disbelief honestly and anger.I work in this form of industry as well,so I know proper foodsafe and it's just pure natural common sense working in this industry.Please wear food preparation gloves Butter Lane it's still a pandemic and it's just common FOODSAFE of running a food establishment.I threw my sandwich in the garbage unfortunately. It was an expensive lunch I did not get eat and a waste of food.Food preparation gloves should always be worn when making a made to order sandwiches especially when your then handling many other orders and payments all at the same time.VERY Upsetting you need a foodsafe handling review of this company! Lost my business for good and will NOT be recomending to anyone to go here after this experience. Wash your hands! Customer service always very Blah as well every other time besides this upsetting experience. Not professionally trained at baking ethier may I add. 0 stars.
Went for breakfast and scones were rock hard and gross. Cookies were old too. Super disappointing their baked goods are not fresh definitely more than a few days old.
Despite some initial miscommunication, they ended up creating and providing me with some amazing cookie cream tarts. The tarts were not only delicious, but absolutely beautiful too. Thank you!
