Wow, amazed with the variety of cookies/biscuits/sweet snacks that you can enjoy with your morning or evening coffee/tea. Taste and freshness 5/5. Also great and very reasonable for gifting too but they don't carry fancy boxes. The only thing I was disappointed with was the customer service of the lady behind the counter. With this variety, you should be able to explain what each item and flavor is when the customer is telling you that they are coming here for the first time. What I got: close to a pound of different biscuits for $10.79.
I went to this busy Persian sweet shop in North Vancouver last week. They had varieties of baklava, cookies and we chose a small box of assorted bakeries. All the sweets were fresh and delicious. The total price of one box was about ~9 $; the price was a bit on the expensive side.
Brings back a lot of memories! A vast variety of Iranian cookies and sweets. The birthday cakes are very light and delicious too. Highly recommended.
Found this gem by following the intense bakery aroma and following it. Son of a batch are they ever amazing. We filled a huge box with 2 of almost everything and it was less than 40 bucks. Best bakery I've been to in some time.
Wide selection of tasty treats like biscuits, pastries and baklava. Love the little chickpea flour biscuits with tea. Got a box full of sweets - you can choose what you like. Popular spot, sometimes gets a lineup but definitely worth a stop! 5/5.
As a Persian coming from a city which is famous for its sweets, I should admit that Laleh Bakery is a true representative of Persian Pastry/Cake/Sweets in Canada. The lady in charge is very nice and caring as well. We really felt like home there and we cannot wait to visit there when I go to Vancouver again.
It’s pretty good Persian bakery. I love Persian pastries because they are less sweet. So, you can have more in one setting without feeling too sweet. The cream puffs, cakes and roulettes were amazing!
It is a good iranian bakery / pastry with good prices. When I went there yesterday, inside the store was hotter than street, so no air conditioning. Their baked cookies and zoolbia bamyeh were good.
Last month was my first time in a Persian Bakery the cutler , a charming lady, explain the pastries to me and help me to choose the best ones! But it was difficult because all of them looks tasty! I bought a small box with aprox 15 pieces. 9CAD wonderful each one! Now I have been there 2 more times! Love it!!!
Collection is amazing and the taste is great but the cashier was very rude. I understand if English isn’t her first language but she doesn’t have to yell at customers. We mentioned that there was insects in the the sweets display and she treated us like idiots and went well there’s insects in the air in a really aggressive tone. When she made a mistake while checking us out, instead of fixing it she blamed usd went you should have told me while I was doing it. Very bad experience with her as a staff person but the sweets themselves were good. Would have bought more but she was just trying to get us out of there it seemed like and we didn’t want to deal with it.
