My female friend and I ate dinner at Butler's Pantry. The pantry is known for its breakfast, however they have recently started opening for dinner.nI had the Halibut and it was outstanding.nIt was not our first choice for dinner in Stowe Vermont, because all prior articles were written highlighting BREAKFAST.nHighly recommended for dinner our culinary experience was outstanding!
Great breakfast spot that was worth the wait. Easy street parking, beautiful scenery of a church with the mountains in the back. This place was spectacular. Best home fries I’ve ever had and a tasty biscuit. George was our server, he was attentive, friendly, respectful, had great customer service, and seemed just like an all around genuine person. We will be sure to stop by again the next time we visit Vermont. Thanks for the delicious meal!
Went for breakfast and got a table outside. Server was very nice but seemed slammed cause we had to get up and ask for several things as she rarely came back to check or came back too late. Ordered what we thought would be a side of gravy mushroom and sausage and two huge bowls came out with the meal. Gravy was also a bit too sweet and a bit too thin on the sausage gravy. The house made sausage is nice but also sweet so assuming this is why the gravy is also sweet. Home fries were amazing though and absolutely crispy, would order a plate of just those.
Right on Main street in town, great place for breakfast. We arrived late on a Saturday and they were very busy. With waitlist of around 20, staff was very courteous, and the wait was only about 25 minutes. The food was great. Very fresh and full of flavor. Would never had thought a spinach salad for breakfast would work, but it does quite well. Can't go wrong with the buttermilk pancakes or French toastnHomemade maple sausage patties and fresh homefries were fantastic
We arrived closer to closing time, and even then, the place was packed, with many still waiting. It’s popular for a reason! Be sure to make a reservation or expect a 10-20 minute wait. The menu is simple, focusing on pancakes, French toast, and similar items—but everything is delicious. We tried nearly everything on the menu, and the quality was top-notch. The savory cheddar jalapeño pancakes are an absolute must-try!
