Busan Korean BBQ

A cute little place that has big flavour! The staff are awesome and very helpful with recommendations and how they like to "cook". It was an amazing experience as my first time and I love that they have different flavours of Soju! I have already been recommending this place.Food: 5/5

We visited Busan BBQ for the first time since the onset of the pandemic, and it was a good or better than we can remember… a new ordering system allows you order with your cell phone after scanning a QR code, you order a voila your food arrives ready to be grilled on your personal table side grill, portions are a decent size, food is fresh… the staff was super attentive and the service was top notch, once of the servers gave us a quick tutorial to get us grilling quickly. There is lots of parking available, with easy access off King Street at Weber. If you are looking for something a lot different than nachos and wings, visit Busan BBQ in Waterloo.

Fair pricing and a good selection of meats offered at their lunch menu. Seating is 1 hour 45 mins but last call is 1 hour at least for me it was so I didn’t really experience the full given time. They offer 10% off with cash but tips is 10% on the bill as well.

Wow!! That was a unique experience. I never expected to be like this. Enjoyed every bit of it. Pork slices, chicken , beef ribs were the favorites. The fillet was not something I would recommend. From the veggies, I just loved the pickled raddish and I think I asled for that 3-4 times.

It is an unique experience where you add your selected spices and cook by yourself. This might not be for everyone. Especially if you are not sure about sauces/ spices and with no experience in cooking, might not be that fun. Try it and see for yourself.Food: 5/5

So my daughter is visiting from the United States and we were looking for something delicious and healthy to have for lunch. But more than just good food, we wanted a culinary “experience”! We got it at Buscan BBQ! Now, understand, we have had the great pleasure of spending some time in Korea and eating authentic Korean food so we were hoping that Busan would not disappoint. It didn’t! The food was delicious and we loved it! Hey, here’s a little tip…..We went at 3:00 pm and paid the less expensive lunch prices! There were still plenty of delicious options with only a few limitations. Actually,my daughter understands some Korean and totally knows her way around a Korean BBQ but my husband and I have always held back and let my girls do all the cooking. So we were delighted when our server, Alex, offered to teach us how to do use the BBQ effectively and season the food! He took time to teach us even though he was clearly busy and we really appreciated it. His kind assistance gave us the confidence to finally try using the BBQ. It was a fabulous culinary “experience”. So why 4 and not 5 stars? Well, it was obvious they get a lot of traffic and it showed in the restrooms. The ladies needs a thorough, professional cleaning and some repairs made. But still, for me it did not diminish the experience. If you are in Waterloo, give it a try!

I’m so glad to say that Busan Korean BBQ has gone back to its rightful glory, back to being the best Korean BBQ in town, and one of the best place to get food in general in town, with a group of friend, or date, this place is welcoming and well kept with friendly staff who are on top of the satisfaction of its customers, under Austin’s leadership this restaurant is my number one option once again when it comes to dinner time. Thank you for the hard work, and the action to feedback, keep implementing the QR code idea when ordering, is innovative, cost and time effective, and reduces chance of errors when missing items in an order! Great job! 100% recommend.

Quality of the meat is quiet good for all you can eat. Not a huge variety of options to choose from but enough to choose from. The meat is sliced thin so its easier to cook. Ice cream dessert is also included in the price. They add a mandatory tip of 10%. Giving 3 stars since the manager told our table that jts last call when it was not even close to our time limit.

I love this place. The selection is good and the price is fair. The short ribs and bacon are my 2 favorites, and use of the sauce selections is a must. Make sure to throw in some kimchi to aid it digestion of all that meat! Cheers

I really love this place. Food is very tasty and staff is nice. The only thing I would really want for Busan BBQ is to bring more food options in the menu.
