Oh man... That was more deliciousness than we could handle. Nick our server was the only one working an almost full restaurant but was still super friendly and personable. Food was great, especially the poutine and a decent selection of brews on tap. Will definitely go again after working off all these calories.
Food was tasty! Not very allergy friendly - dairy, gluten, nuts, and fish. Cant expect too much from a BBQ place though. Poutine has chicken gravy. Friendly and funny staff. First bathroom I've gone to in a pub where my first thought walking in was "this room smells good". Overall, good atmosphere, people, and full stomachs.
Popped in for lunch, feeling like somethin smokey. Cold beer on a hot day. Had the brisket fries and coleslaw. Very good.
Expensive for the amount of food you get. Service was friendly and food was alright. My friends and I were not a fan of the Southern Alcoholic Iced Tea though so be wary if you like iced tea and is expecting it to taste like iced tea.
I’m a fan of the Lou Dawg’s chain, I’ve been to their Toronto and Hamilton location. Thought I’d try out their new Waterloo location too. The 3 meat platter + 2 sides was a good portion to share between my friend and I, for under $20 too! But the meat was underwhelming. The pulled chicken was dry. Service was fine.
