UKI Restaurant

This is a must try if you're looking for authentic Korean cuisine. The food here is amazing and priced very well. The service was great! Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. UKI is now one of my go-to restaurants whenever I am in town.Food: 5/5

Best restaurant ever. Staffs are also super friendly. They really go the extra mile. And the food is spectacular! I'm the kind of guy that only likes plain stuff but ill eat anything this restaurant makes because it's so good. One little nitpick is that the tables are a bit too big so it's hard to talk to someone on the other side but... more space for food! The atmosphere is really great too, like they have this really cool tree near the window that looks nice. Im gonna come back agian.

Lovely Korean restaurant uptown. Great food and friendly service. The side dishes are so tasty and refillable. I really enjoyed the Grilled Pork Belly Dish and the Bibim Naengmyun Spicy Cold Noodles. Must try dishes and must try place.

This restaurant is way overrated. Not even an authentic Korean restaurant. No appetizer is provided and the cooking is very greasy, especially the fried chicken. I felt quite nauseous after eating it. The udon was OK, average. The service was not good, they should have hired more servers.

Was passing by in Downtown Waterloo and the pictures on the outdoor glass tempted us to try this place. Very strange entrance to the restaurant. Looked clean and the server was quick to come and take your order but the order did took time to come to the table. Food was very average in taste. The dish I enjoyed was the appetizer. bulgogi was just ok and even their tray of the accompaniments I have eaten way better. Some thing as simple as kimchi was missing it’s flavours. The helping are average size but the rice which accompanies the meal I felt was small to fill someone who is really hungry Food was fresh in every way so that was a big positive. For payment of bill you have to go to the counter and they donot bring it up to you. They do accept credit cards.

Had a great time at UKI last week! Having both Japanese and Korean menus was perfect to satisfy all our cravings. The food was really good and all the staff were wonderful! Glad to have a restaurant like this in town, definitely will be back many times!

I went here recently with some friends and the food was pretty decent! I wouldn’t say it’s the best Korean food I’ve ever had but good Korean food is hard to come by in KW! That’s not to say I was disappointed by the food! My friends and I shared everything we ordered which was the tangsuyuk, cheese donkatsu, tempura dinner, and vegetable bibimbap! I would say the best items we ordered are the tempura dinner and the vegetable bibimbap! The cheese donkatsu was a bit underwhelming but everything else we ordered was nice.

Very good Korean restaurant. I and church friends ordered pork soup, tofu soup, pork cutlet, cheese pork cutlet, chicken wings, yulingi, sweet and sour pork and etc. All was delicious. Good memory!

Beef udon was very good; broth was flavourful and vegetables were perfectly cooked to just done. The Katsu combo was also perfectly cooked to just done- the pork was flavour-full and juicy, with nice crisp outside. Overall I’m very impressed, the great food makes up for the lacklustre decor. Great place to eat!

Uki is a nice Korean restaurant, the service is friendly and efficient. The food had nice flavours, I especially liked that the spicy seafood udon had a nice rich broth and the seafood tasted fresh.Food: 4/5
