Buffalo Wild Wings

It's wings. There's eighty billion sauces and I understand the need for trying to appeal to everyone in the world, but here's what you really need: Mild Medium Hot Stupid suicide hot. That's it. Really. BUT, they are decent wings. I don't bother with the rest of the menu. It's a wing joint, thought I understand the menu creep. Beer selection is decent and it's a nice enough place to get my wing fix.

This buffalo wild wings is a mixed review. While me and my girl friend have been there many times without any issue, lately it seems to be going in the wrong direction. We had the same waiter the last two times and before that all I could complain about is that it could take some time to get your food, but I think that is from it being busy which is understandable. I'm not sure if it was the waiters fault or kitchen staff but the last two times we have been there we got our drinks quickly, ordered an appetizer and then we share a large order of wings. Both of our most recent times the appetizer has been forgotten until we ask about it after we have gotten our wings. But at the same time, both of those times the waiter and even the manager, or assistant manger, has more than made up for it. The first time the appetizer was taken off or bill and still brought out to us and the second time our wings where not what we ordered but they promptly brought out more wings how we asked for them at no charge, while still leaving what they brought us. It was quite annoying that it was messed up twice in a row but I feel the staff made up for the mistakes. (And don't forget to ask for the wings to be extra wet if you like them covered in sauce!)

Lunch on Wednesday, not busy but waited a very long time for our food. Rude hostess. Very nice but often absent waitress. Chicken Wrap was blah. Fries were not good. Granddaughter loved her chicken nuggets and fries. Mozzarella sticks were a problem but they replaced them instantly and removed it from the bill.

Awful, embarrassing, ashamed...I have been coming for 3 years and this was worse than waiting at Mallory’s for 20 minutes after being seated before someone checking in and asking what we wanted to drink. The sad part is that our waitress was one of the “managers” and has waited on us before in the past. I had to go to the bar and get a drink after the first round because I literally waited 15 minutes and there was no one in sight. Even the bartender, who knows us well, busted my balls for wanting to get my beer put on my tab...meanwhile our server is at the end of the bar waiting with arms folded, laughing and conversing with other servers...there was another young bartender on staff who wasn’t busy at all as she waited, hands on hips, and watched the other bartender work. So were they busy, absolutely, but not abnormally for BW’s. I watched my server, along with two other servers - who looked and dressed like they were in charge and “managers”, stood at the end of the bar with arms folded and joked it up constantly while I was there. One of the servers/managers, bald and looks like he lifts trucks for a little living, constantly checked on the table to out immediate left where there was an older, fairly attractive female who had a business meeting there and something to do with BW’s....I’m telling you that table got checked 4 times more than we did. He walked by us several times and could plainly see we were waiting for something, anything...then stand arms folded next to end of bar and wait. Meanwhile the server to our immediate right had a group of 20 in front if us and also had the table to the right...although that service was not much better, hands down way better than ours. As stated, we have been there before and I know for a fact servers/managers there know us and know that we are patient, courteous, and my daughters are disciplined...and we tip well. Our server/manager got a penny to know she wasn’t forgotten. It’s was embarrassing and infuriating at the same time...how can a nationally renowned food chain operate like this...or is it the new generation and their work ethic, lack of urgency and common sense. What the heck is happening to the Hudson BWubs?! Problem is everyone who worked displayed the same traits aforementioned. Brutal...embarrassing...They should be ashamed of themselves, especially said managers, but nothing will happen. What will happen is me not going there after 3 years.

Not knowledgeable/out of beer Usually I do not complain ever about going out to eat, usually I am very easy going but going to this particular Buffalo Wild Wings we did not have a good experience. Went out for the UFC 220: Miocic vs Ngannou fight on a Saturday, we even called ahead to make sure they were airing it at the Hudson location. The girl on the phone said "Yes we are, its on most of the screens right now", we showed up and it turns out they actually did not have the fight (we found out after ordering a drink, thinking maybe it was going to come on). Also when we ordered a beer, they did not have Honey Weiss, Amstel Light or Stella, which for a Saturday night was very upsetting, get your stuff together BW's!!! Went with a coor's light, and we ate the food we ordered, then had to go to a different buffalo wild wings to watch the fight. The waitress was really nice and attentive but we could tell it was hard for her to work there with the lack of proper management and also the lack of beer that SHOULD be available (it's on the menu right?) We went to the Oakdale location, would highly recommend going there and avoid the Hudson location at all costs!!!!!
