As you can see from the picture, we got a great car for our trip to the island. We drove it to our air b&b in Sooke and also visited Victoria. The car was extremely easy to collect and a really smooth ride. We actually walked from the ferry terminal to Budget and it took around half an hour.nOn leaving day, we filled up the petrol tank before dropping it off, and then a lovely staff member gave us a lift back to the ferry terminal. It was very handy. 100% would recommend this place and use them again.
Really satisfied with this rental. We were upgraded on the rental car, which was brand new and spotless.nnI had 30 minutes to return the car and get back to the ferry terminal for the sailing. The return transaction took 1 minute, and the friendly operator offered me a ride! I was back at the ferry terminal with time to spare. Thank you!!
Really good experience. First time we've rented a car abroad. All staff we spoke to were helpful and nice. Car was fine for the 4 days we rented. $750 hold on credit card for the car, assume that'll be released shortly after returning the car. Petrol gas station over the road to top the car up before handing keys back.
Amazing Experience, very professional and clearly custpmer service is their goal. They have a shuttle that will pick you up and drop you off after and before your rental. This will be the only rental place I use when I visit Nanaimo.nnThank you Budget team for the amazing experience.
I’m a long-term Budget Car Rental customer and a Budget Self Storage customer…nnboth of which are located at 33 Terminal Ave, Nanaimo, BC.nnMy storage rental with Budget started 2 years ago and I just rented a vehicle a moving van from them in July 2022.nnIt’s fair to say I should have posted a 5-star review for these people long ago but just didn’t think about it till now.nnSince I first started using the storage unit, I stop in there regularly sometimes weekly, so I’ve met all the staff who works there,nnand on each visit to that place I’ve always been treated by them in a friendly, respectful, and appreciative way.nnAlso, when I rented the moving van in July, it was exactly the same story with me receiving 5-star treatment from checkout to returning the vehicle with no extra charges or surprises.nnI know I don’t say it to you while I'm there but I really appreciate you folks … thank you for what you do!
