Dear mom & dad, The campground is perfect for kids and families. They have accessible bathrooms, showers, water, tons of playgrounds, easy bike paths and even activities made by campground hosts. The bathrooms are cleaned twice a day. The staff is very active around the campground. There is a concession shop where you can get ice cream, poutine, hamburgers, chips, candy, and so much more. There is day use parking, lots of space. It is a great place to camp if you are new to camping or like a little more “glamping” than camping. Too bad it rained on us so we couldn’t enjoy the beach. It was lovely though. Plenty of space on the beach, there’s a playground right in front. There is also a big sand pit between site D and F. We will be coming back. One of our favorites spots to camp so far!
This is a great provincial park to camp at! Large sites with good privacy and well priced. Beach access is a no dog area which was disappointing and bathroom placement is a bit sparse. Showers are a looney and I was able to shower with one and had time to spare. Bring 2 just in case. : Playground: A few small playgrounds are around and looked to be in great shape! Restrooms: Sparsely laid out can be a bit of a walk depending on your site location. Dog-friendliness: Dogs are to be on leash. No access for dogs to the beach area. Can take dogs into the water by the boat launch.
Love the camp sites, we'll covered with trees and brush. Hard to see you neighbors. A good thing!!! The ice cream shop is a bit pricey but big scoops and friendly staff. I do.wish the beach was in better condition, it needs to be combed.
Nice walk. Not very exciting though. Lots of open spaces. Not too many trees. Seen some pelicans.
Great little campground. Sites are semi private and fair sized. The girls at the gate were awesome and let us look at some sites to choose from before we paid. It can be a bit of a hike to the beach depending on what loop you are in. Beach is massive and there were tons of people out. Water was nice.
Stayed 6 days with the family6 of us loved it. I will note the bathrooms are very run down in the section we stayed in. only 1 out of 3 showers worked, and the toilet stalls are very wobbly NEEDS maintenance NOW. AUG 2022.
Theres lots of noise at night past 11 from left to right and no staff to stop it? People were singing happy Birthday at midnight and loud laughters of drunk individuals and no staff cares. 2 out of 3 showers are not working, really disappointing. This place should be investigated. It all happened this August 20, 2022, Saturday.
We were in F and the washrooms need more then just an overhaul!!! Toilet handles are all broken and some toilets sound like they are on the way out! The one outlet didn't work! I know they said they are upgrading F and a few others however I am not sure a simple upgrade will suffice. The outhouse was great!
Beautiful lake and a great campground, there is also a concession on sight for hot food and cool treats.
Nice and clean campground. Would recommend buying your firewood before hitting the campground. 10$/8 dried sticks of wood. They also have power in A to D Loops. Very nice
