I had an excellent stay at Microtel Inn in Blackfalds and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their friendly, professional, and helpful attitude. Check-in was quick and easy, and they were happy to answer all of my questions and make sure I had everything I needed.nnThe room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The bed was incredibly cozy, and I had one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had while traveling. Everything was well maintained, from the bathroom to the furniture, and it was clear that the hotel takes cleanliness and guest comfort seriously. The room also had all the amenities I needed, making my stay both relaxing and convenient.nnThe hotel itself is quiet, well kept, and in a great location with easy access to nearby restaurants, shops, and the surrounding area. I also appreciated how safe and welcoming the property felt throughout my stay.nnOne thing that really stood out was the exceptional customer service. Every staff member I interacted with was courteous, attentive, and genuinely cared about making my stay enjoyable. We were very disappointed that we were not offered anything to compensate for not having hot water when we arrived and to have to put up with noise in the middle of the night from maintenance work. If it wasn't for that, we would rate the hotel highly.nnWe booked the room to have some rest and relaxation after a long day. What we had was the poor experience of having a cold shower and hearing the noise of the maintenance crew fixing things as we tried to sleep. That is not what we paid for.nnWe understand maintenance issues happen, but wish the hotel's management would understand that this is not the client's problem and fairly offer to reimburse part of our payment.nnI asked the receptionist what would be offered to us, and she suggested I could write an email to the owner or manager, I'm not sure, called Al. Nothing wrong with the staff, by the way, as they were kind and pleasant. However, they were clearly not empowered to deal with the situation properly. I wrote to Al and have not hear back. This is not the right way to treat customers.nnI'll gladly remove this negative review if I am offered apologies and a fair partial reimbursement for the nightly rate I paid.

Her kindness, organization, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed and meant so much during such an important occasion.nnWe were also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a business suite, which made our stay feel even more special. The room was spacious, spotless, quiet, and incredibly comfortable, complete with a mini fridge and microwave that made everything so convenient.nnThe hotel itself was beautifully maintained with such a relaxing atmosphere throughout. One of our favorite parts was the peaceful hot tub and sauna area. Quiet, clean, and the perfect place to unwind after a long day.nnThe bed was unbelievably comfortable, the amenities were excellent, and every detail felt thoughtfully prepared. You can truly tell this hotel takes pride in providing an exceptional guest experience.nnWhat stood out the most was the staff. Friendly, attentive, accommodating, and always willing to help with a smile. That kind of service is rare these days, and it absolutely made our stay memorable.nnThis was not just a hotel stay… it was an experience. We came in fairly late in the evening and slept for the night, the beds were great, they were nice and soft but also firm enough to where you're not getting pulled into it, pillows were soft and puffy, the blankets actually kept you warm. In the morning we felt nice and refreshed.nThe real amazing part was the morning, the night before we had told them that we are checking out before they serve breakfast, and then they gave us some brown paper bags with food in it to go because we would wake up before they serve breakfast which was so unbelievably kind.nIf I could rate service a six stars I would
