Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Blackfalds Red Deer North

The room was clean for the most part. I am a housekeeper part time so i notice ever little thing that gets missed, it was nothing big just a bit of dust on the toilet paper holder. The air conditioner did not work. I am sure somebody would have done something about it if i had reported it but I did not want to get my dog riled up by having someone come to the room. Otherwise it was a nice cozy clean room, the staff was friendly and accommodating. To start off with they allowed me to check in quite late because I flew into Calgary late. I got to use the hot tub before i checked out which was nice. I was given permission to take some orange juice after they were already cleaning up the breakfast area which was nice of them. I was also given some dog treats which my dog absolutely loved. Internet worked well did not have any disconnecting issues. overall had a good night and it served its purpose. I would not have made it home safe if I had not found this hotel as I was far too tired to drive home, and I am glad its this hotel i found because I was looking at reviews for hotels everywhere and they were all quite questionable to say the least. Will recommend this hotel to others in the area.

This hotel was perfect for us as we were staying for 22 nights. The hotel is is a great location close to Red Deer. Good price for a long term stay. Room was clean, bed was comfy, good free breakfast every day. Angie, the front desk supervisor was very friendly and always willing to help. Will definitely stay here again.

This Microtel Inn is located in Blackfalds Alberta. It is convenient and easy to find for anyone visiting in or around Red Deer, Blackfalds, and Lacombe. Not too far from Sylvan Lake as well. The staff are great, friendly locals with a welcoming personality in each. I was upgraded at no cost due to my booking of a small single room but needed more space. I believe a lot of workers use this hotel and weekends were busy with local hockey teams and parents. The views are not spectacular. This is a good choice for a moderate humble stay. There is a grocery store, Tim Hortons coffee shop, and a few restaurants all within walking distance. I spent a week and would definitely recommend this Inn to my friends. The only downside was a bit of elevator troubles however the hotel has only 3 floors and ghe issue was remedied by the end of my stay. 2 thumbs up

The washroom is really bad! The shower doesn’t have curtains or door, the water just goes to the same place where you step to sit on the toilet making your feet wet, ridiculous!nVery friendly staff.nThe location is ok but there’s too many crackeds walking around the parking lot bringing a bad insecure sensation.

Rooms were great. Nice beds, smart TV, and washrooms were clean and nice showerhead/water pressure. Staff was very friendly and recognized us over the 2 Weeks we stayed. The compliments breakfast was fantastic. I enjoyed my share of sausage, eggs. Bacon, and pancakes among other breakfast options until 9 or 10 depending on the day of the week and unlimited apple juice/orange juice/peach drink/ chilled water all day. Definitely would recommend and will likely stay here again.
