Clean, decent space between trailer sites, many services spots. Depending on the loop you get more or not trees. This is one of our favourite places for RVing because it's convenient and the beach is awesome. The boardwalk is a short and pretty walk to the Brewers campground we're you have a bigger beach. But the little one at Lakeview is really nice as well.
This is one of our favourite campgrounds. Campsites have decent size plus far away from each other with trees in between that give more privacy for campers. Has its own playground. Has its own little beach. You have option to go to Aspen Beach Provincial Park if you want a bigger beach. The washroom is clean & well kept. We love to bike around the area & nearby campground & park. One night I had a chance to watch northernlights & STEVE light at this campground. What an experience!!! Only thing I don’t like is, this place always get hit with thunderstorm. We cancelled a booking last year & this year because of storm forecast. One time we experienced a thunderstorm with hail overnight & was scary. I would still give it 5 star!
We actually stayed at brewers campground this time not lakeview Site C98. Close to showers and toilets. Nice campground well treed and some sites have more privacy than others. The beach was busy with people having fun well into the evenings 8/9pm. And on the water too. Showers are a dollar for what seemed like forever, could easierly shower more than one person at a time.....and the water was nice and hot. The trails are easy between the campgrounds and filled with butterflies and bird song. There is also a trail into Bentley that is super easy too. Nice campground just remember the bug spray. Have fun
Great beach! I highly recommend staying at nearby campsites. Brewers is amazing. The amount of privacy combined with the amenities makes it top notch! Showers, flush toilets, electricity and available for a fee, firewood make this campground a yearly destination. If you can't make it for a week or a weekend, just come for a day or an afternoon. Well worth it! Kid friendly and I don't have kids but felt like one all week!
We found Lakeview to be a clean well-kept Campground. The sites are somewhat treed. Especially where we stayed in A. We had no trouble keeping our air conditioning running for most of the time we were there on their power grid. Then there was the lake, which was perfect for children. It never got deeper than the chest of my nine year old boy, but mostly never pass the waist.
Very nice camping spot full service pull through camp sites. Very well maintained!
Great camping site, well maintained and very comfortable for enjoying
I have to say that I have been to quite a few campgrounds throughout Alberta over the years, and there are a few gems but I’m sure I’ve found my favourite spot. The beach was the real draw, we came across this place by accident and were pleasantly surprised. Many campgrounds boast about their beaches, but the water is almost always a let down. I grew up spending summers at Ontario beaches, so I’ve been searching for anything that comes close and Alberta’s don’t usually make the cut. The water in this lake is clean, not too cold and the beach was maintained. Right near the beach, aside from the boat launch is a decent concession stand and has several washrooms available close by. The water is, for the most part, shallow but you can properly swim by the ropes. The Campground itself was pretty good, I can’t really complain about much. The washrooms were better than expected, with $1 showers which have great almost too much pressure, and almost too hot, which we didn’t mind. I usually don’t review much but, for those looking for a great summer family experience, this is it.
We go here every year and they never disappoint. The ice cream is to die for and the beaches are really nice. The sites are very nice and though you have to go up and down the hill to get to the beach it is a short distance and is very accessible. Highly recommend.
Beautiful good place for picnic & camping
