Enjoy our B & B getaway on Lake Elizabeth, located in Lacombe's Rosedale Valley.

Story

Whether you are on the go for business or pleasure or looking for a calm retreat, our spacious, private entrance suite with its manicured grounds, next to natural forest and maintained walking trails, is a welcoming place to unwind.

One to two bedrooms (depending on the size of your party) open onto a great room with private dining area, library, wood stove (for ambiance), entertainment centre, and playable, antique musical instruments.

Enjoy a walk or jog along the lakeshore, with access to the Lacombe trail system from our backyard. Or capitalize on the neighbouring college gym (also bordering Lake Elizabeth) that offers guest access to its modern exercise equipment and pool for a fee.

Besides the spacious bedrooms and comfy beds the main area has an eating area, a TV area and a library area! We were 3 adults with stuff and felt we had lots of room. Just a short walk across their lawn takes you to a well maintained, treed trail around Elizabeth Lake. Dianne is a wonderful host with that ability to be attentive without being invasive. And did I mention the breakfasts? Wonderful.

We have stayed at Elizabeth View Bed and Breakfast many times - actually around 10 times I think... That right there confirms how wonderful each and every visit has been. Dianne and Dwayne have always been excellent hosts. The breakfasts are elegant and delicious. The unit is the size of a 2 bedroom suite with lots of room and comfy chairs. Both bedrooms are comfortable. The suite is tastefully decorated with artwork by Dianne and their daughter. Another great thing about this B&B is that it is on Elizabeth Lake (hence Elizabeth View!). in season, Adirondack chairs are positioned in the yard so that visitors may enjoy the lake. Plus a hike around the lake starts right outside the property. While we have stayed there in various seasons, winter is special because, on request, Dwayne lights up the wood stove providing extra comfort. We would recommend Elizabeth B&B 100% and would go back tomorrow if travels were to take us back to Lacombe!

Had a wonderful time here. Four of us stayed for two nights. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic. The great room was cozy and spacious. My friend who plays strings was pleasantly surprised when Dwyane brought over an unique banjo for him to play. Diane was super nice and caring. We traveled around the area and came back happy and tired to the B&B. The lake side trail just behind was also quiet and nice. Surely loved the place and highly recommend to all.
