I have Brentwood Bridal to thank for my gorgeous wedding gown. My husband and I got married on May 21, 2017, and I looked spectacular in a pearl Mikayla gown. I would have never found or considered this dress had I not walked into their store last May, when Sam and the other Brentwood Bridal staff members guided me through wedding dress options. Their expertise and friendly approach made wedding dress shopping a wonderful experience. Sam even recommended the Mikayla gown that I eventually purchased, even though I was set on another style. I was won over immediately by his suggestion. Following my decision, the Brentwood Bridal staff assisted me in placing my order, selecting a jeweled belt, adding a bustle onto my dress, and completing my alterations. Their expert seamstress knew exactly how to make my dress a perfect fit. My gown fit so well throughout my wedding day that I was able to dance the night away~ Brentwood Bridal thus ensured that I found the perfect gown and had it customized just right. I would recommend Brentwood Bridal to anyone seeking a wedding gown. They will make the task easy and enjoyable. I am so glad I entrusted them with this task – I am sure you will too!
Thank you all at Brentwood Bridal! Especially Grazia who picked this dress out for me! And to Olga for tailoring! I don't live in BC. I was in town on a short visit for a dress fitting. Not only did Olga make suggestions to alter my dress that would suit my taste, but she had the alterations done in less than 3 days to save me a trip back to Vancouver to pick it up. I couldn't have asked for a more professional level of service. I have never felt so beautiful in my life and the compliments I received on my wedding day were proof that I made the right choice. Thank you all for everything! I would highly recommend this store to all brides!
I had an incredible experience at Brentwood Bridal. I had gone to three other stores prior and nothing compared to this store. We walked in without an appointment but luckily enough for me there was a cancellation and they let us in. I want to mention that when they have a bride in, her and her party are the ONLY people they allow in that store. They do not service multiple brides at the same time. This would explain why some of the other people commenting were not allowed in as walk-ins or felt like they were inconveniencing the staff by just looking around. Sam was the most amazing consultant and I am forever grateful to him for placing me with the perfect dress. I went in with an EXACT vision of what I wanted to look like. However, Sam told me to pick out three dresses and he will pick three dresses. I ended up going with his number 1 pick for me. He was able to pick the perfect dress based solely on my body type and my criteria lace, shape, etc. Similar to some of the other people commenting, they told me to order a larger size than what I was measured as all of my measurements were a 6 with one measurement at the high end of a 6 so they told me to go with an 8 instead. The seamstress did an impeccable job of altering my dress and even gave me some of the custom touches I wanted. It ended up fitting me like a glove like any wedding dress should and the price was very reasonable. All in all I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for a dress. They have a large variety of dresses and a many designers to choose from.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I am a bridesmaid in my friend’s bridal party and we thought we would check out Bryan’s Bridal to see their bridesmaid dresses were like as we have only been to two other stores. We got to the store and the lady that was working which I am assuming was the manager or owner, unfortunately I did not get her name or I forgot it because I did not care to remember it had an extremely rude demeanor. We arrived 5 minutes late to our appointment because we got a little lost in the area and then the parking lot was under construction so we had to go around which took us longer than expected, that was out of our control but she was still not impressed with that. We asked her how the colouring works for the dresses as the bride knew what colour she wanted the dresses to be. We didn’t want to waste time looking at dresses that were not able to come in our colour but the lady just said all dresses come in all colours. She didn’t explain whether or not they could match colours or which brand had a better matching colour to our colour. When we started to look at the dresses the lady didn’t help us at all. She just watched us and didn’t bother asking us what style we were looking for or what fabric to help make the process go faster when she was bothered that our appointment was at 4:45 and the store closed at 6. She kept saying that we wouldn’t have enough time. We ended up doing our own thing which we would have done that anyway but it would have been nice if the lady would have at least attempted to do her job and helped us since we were the only group in the store. The lady didn’t offer to take the dresses that we were interested in trying on so we only picked one and she said rudely again “I guess I’ll open the doors to the change room for you guys” as if we were being demanding and asked for a change room made out of gold! Once we had the dresses on, each bridesmaid has a different body type and for some the dresses were too big so we wanted to clip the back but the lady disappeared and never helped us, again… By this time we were getting frustrated with the lady as we couldn’t tell if the dresses were actually going to fit us properly. The fact that she just stood there when she finally decided to come check on us but still did nothing to help! Never even asked how we were doing. The quality of the dresses seems good but all the dresses were very uncomfortable and very pricy! We finally picked one dress that we all agreed we liked and wanted to take a picture as one bridesmaid was out of the country and we wanted to show her the dress but we were told no photos. The last two stores we were allowed so we thought that was weird. When we asked to have the dress number so we can refer back to it, the lady told us flat out no and that she would put it in the computer so we would have to come back. This lady was rude, disrespectful, unhelpful, made us feel extremely uncomfortable and just horrible. I have never seen this kind of customer service and I have no idea how this store is still running. Also as a side note the sizing on the dresses were very weird. When we tried on dresses at the other stores I wore either a 10 or 12 sometimes a 14 depending on the dress but at this store I put on a size 20 and it was still too small! This made me personally feel extremely self conscience about my body. We will never go back to this store and we started to look at more reviews and found out lots of people have had the same issues and some reviews were even worse! Definitely do your research as this was a waste of our time! This store/company is horrible in every single way imaginable!
I was really happy with them for my bridal appt. I HATE dress shopping and it was almost painless. Except for the fact that I had to try on dresses. I did go there a couple years back to get a last minute dress for an awards gala and the lady that served me that time was a bit of a tool. If I hadn't read a great review online about some lady that was having trouble finding a dress I wouldn't have even bothered coming back. I'm glad I did though. The people that helped me more than one! were extremely helpful and very professional. They were able to pretty much read my mind and were quick about things so I wasn't super bored and fatigued from trying on so many dresses. In the end I found two dresses that I loved. One dress was a bit out of my price range so they gave me a discount to fit it in. I'd say check it out, way better than David's Bridal.
This was my first time wedding dress shopping and I had a terrible experience. The young lady that was helping me originally was very nice and friendly and did her best to be helpful. The second lady the manager or her supervisor was not. As we were picking out dresses she actually took dresses out of our hands and told me they were not what I wanted. A bit of a bully, really. I tried on a few dresses and quite liked one in particular. When I got dressed and came out of the change room to pick out more dresses she pretty much kicked us out. I guess my appointment was over? Perhaps she thought I was wasting her time? She never even gave me the opportunity to tell her that I really liked the dress. No offer of trying on a veil or asking if I was interested in any. She was more concerned with taking dresses away and rushing me out the door. I ended up going to another shop later that day and bought a very similar dress by the same designer. Terrible customer service. I would not recommend this shop to anyone!
I stopped by 30 minutes before closing without an appointment, and Hallie was very friendly and showed us around, before booking an appointment to come back the next morning. For our appointment she was courteous, gave honest suggestions, didn't push too hard to sell, and gave me plenty of time to tug, pull, and ask questions about the dresses. She also helpfully pulled multiple items off the rack for me to try, and really took my feedback into account. We didn't find exactly what I was looking for here, but they do have a great selection and terrific service.
My daughter and I purchased a formal graduation dress from this shop recently. We found the store to be clean, spacious and comfortable. We were treated with kindness and respect, and we would recommend this place for that reason. There was no pressure to buy, no upselling. The owner was pleasant and considerate of our budget. The seamstress was also polite and helpful. Our only complaint was that you have to book every visit. Thank-you for helping us with a milestone event!
I went to Bryan's bridal to make my appointment for both myself and my bridesmaid, the woman at the counter was very rude. She would only make an appointment for myself and refused to book my bridesmaids as she said my dress was the most important. She said once I found my dress she would book in the bridesmaids. I understand where she was coming from, but I wanted an appointment for them to try on dresses since one of my bridesmaids is from out of province. I wanted to know what type of dress suited her body type, even if I didn't find my dress. None the less I still made my appointment. It was my second appointment of the day, and I was pretty sure I had already found my dress elsewhere, but wanted to make sure. I did have a budget I was sticking to and I did know that would be the lower end of their price point. While she was helping me in the dressing room, she made it very clear to me that my budget was low for their store. She said quite rudely "We will definitely be sticking to the sale rack". I tried on a couple dresses and they just weren't what I was looking for, or had already found. I told her I felt I had already found my dress and that was why I wasn't liking what I was trying on. She had asked to see a picture of the dress, so my friend showed her a picture. She actually had the nerve to say "No I don't love that dress, but you are the one wearing it, you have to feel it. I really like the dress you are wearing right now." I understand she may not have liked the dress, or just wanted to make a sale. But, when a bride tells you she has found her dress, you don't tell her you don't love it, even if you don't!!. I told her at that point I was done and leaving. I took the dress off and left the store! I couldn't believe how rude she was. Luckily I didn't let her ruin my day and experience. I went back to my original store and bought my dress and all my bridesmaids dresses!!!
My daughter is graduating and we were looking for a dress for her formal dinner as well as the semi formal. We had no idea what to expect but when we walked in we were greeted by Sam who said "look around, pick out some things you like, and then perhaps I can also show you a few dresses that I think will suit you" The dresses my daughter picked out were lovely but when Sam brought over the dresses he chose WOW! He really knew what style and colour would look good on her. I would highly recommend this store for all your special occasion dress needs. Sam was fantastic and made the experience really fun for both my daughter and I.
