Brent's No Frills

Really I would give them a 4 star because it's good store with good prices. But it's the cultural enrichment I don't like. Be prepared for dangerous looking migrants. Immigrants handling produce like it's already payed for and doing everything but licking it for taste. I've been tempted to say excuse me we don't touch the produce like that in Canada, but even that wouldn't be polite enough and I would end up on CBC while they declare me a Nazi. So what I do is shop for things like produce at other stores and just buy packaged items at this no frills. Enjoy your cultural enrichment Canada!

The prices are good, but I'm not a big fan of this store. It feels really claustrophobic and it gets insanely crowded with long lineups at the checkout blocking the aisles. The cleanliness is also not the best. Produce does not last very long or is very good quality but pantry items are a great buy here. Meats are okay, but not the best cuts. No Visa accepted. The parking lot is also not very well laid out and can be a bit cumbersome to navigate.

This store has a poor layout. The isles are narrow and the over all feel is very claustrophobic. On busy weekends they don't have nearly enough check out lanes open. The produce has always been a disappointment. On a positive note the staff are friendly and the prices are cheap like any other no frills I've shopped at.

This is the first No Frills I've been to, and it has a good variety of stuff for very cheap prices. The No Name Brand is really cheap, BUT I noticed that prices of products of other regular brands (like Delissio or Hungry Man) were more expensive than at Walmart, so i don't know why their tagline is "Won't be beat". I like the idea of people having to put a quarter to access a cart, because it helps to reduce people parking carts anywhere in the parking lot. Overall a good place to do groceries at, but only if you're buying from the line of products that No Name has to offer.

I work very close by and drop in after work. Usually for meat products. Staff in the meat department are always helpful and talkative.
