Bravo Family Restaurant & Dining Lounge

Bravo restaurant is one of those special gems that you only find in a small town. The decor is a cross between a 50’s diner and an Italian Spaghetti House with a splash of Greek Acropolis. What makes the Bravo an outstanding restaurant is the quality of their home cooked food. Their $7 lunch specials are not only a great bargain but they use quality ingredients. I ordered a chicken burger and was very impressed to receive a great burger made with real chicken breast and not some mystery meat patty. Their breakfast is one of the best in town! Their “meat skillet” is two eggs on top of a mountain of hash brown potatoes mixed with bacon and sausage and a layer of melted cheese. My absolute Favorite. The staff are very “matter of fact” but if you take the time to get to know them they are wonderful. My only complaint is that they can be slow with coffee refills at breakfast. That said....after bringing it up with the owner one day that has improved a lot. Do yourself a favour...if you are in Gananoque and are looking for a great breakfast or lunch, go to Bravo! You will not be disappointed.

Came for dinner. I ordered the Philly steak sandwich with fries ($11.00). Very pleasantly surprised. Fries were home cut, sandwich was generous and well presented. It needs a refresh on the interior, kinda ragged and extremely old school. ( hence my surprise...) Eat here instead of the "chain" places in town, it's a much better value, and a superior meal. Service was quick and friendly.
