Ordered a heart shaped pizza and cheesecake for Valentine’s Day and got home to open the box. The pizza was the worst pizza that I have ever tasted. The crust was so thin as we didn’t order thin slice and no cheese or toppings. We paid $27 for a medium pizza and $10 for the cheesecake. The strawberry sauce was so bad. The cheesecake cookie crumb was off. I know it’s busy and feel for restaurants but as a Boston pizza franchise I expected more as we have always supported BP. I know it busy that day but quality should be standard. The ladies at the counter were really nice and efficient but the cooks and food is terrible. It just ruined our family evening.Update: Garth reached out to us and apologized so I really appreciate that effort.
Came for a late night pizza. Got seated promptly, then the waitress took a very long time to come and take our order. First thing she said after giving us the menus was "we are short staffed, so the kitchen is only making pizzas or wings". Normally, it would come with an apology for inconvenience or something customer service-like, but it was more a statement of fact. Didn't ruin the night or anything, but it gave a bit of unease. Due to lack of servers, it all business was consolidated right by the bar. So with about 30 people in one area, it was really loud and hard to have a conversation without almost yelling. We got the cutlery and plates - one of the plates was soaking wet and obviously wasn't dried. Server was mingling with a lot with the larger tables. Not taking orders or anything, just mingling. We had to go up to her to ask if we could get service and when she came, she said "What's wrong?". We pointed out the plate and she left. No apology and didn't even take the plate. When she came back with a new plate, she just dropped it on the table and left without a word. Like, literally dropped it so much so that the plate made a clang. My girlfriend and I looked at each thinking "what the hell was that?". Pizza arrived and the cut was almost hilarious. You had some slices cut for an ant and another cut for a gorilla. We were there almost 2 hours and the server came to check on us once. After all that, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
We came in for a very late dinner despite busy we were seated quick and also we did get good waiter . The food tasted very good and the drinks were nice. Not 5 starts because right before serving our food we were told there was no vegetarian ground left for tacos so we only had the pasta. Vegetarian options: Great veg pasta
After watching movie batman we came here for dinner. A restaurant open late and they serve delicious food. We ordered long Island ice tea, chicken wings, bourbon BBQ chicken pizza lndividual Thai chicken wrap and veggie burger. The food was tasty. Service was wonderful.
My bf and me love Boston pizza because the food is great and the staff are always very friendly. This time we went for dinner and I ordered the new carnitas pizza which I also asked them to add jalapeno on it. First I ordered a side of yam fries which I love from this place and it was a huge one with some lettuce and this chipotle mayo dressing which is extremely good and fresh. I love pizzas from Boston pizza because the crust is amazingly crunchy, there's not too much sauce, it is tasty and whatever cheese they add is so fresh. Now with the carnitas added to the pizza I didn't feel it like a weird thing, just something similar to pulled pork which was not too salty and, with the jalapeno flavour, it added this fusion of the pizza + the carnitas. I enjoyed my meal very much. My bf had a side of fries and I also tried them, they were very good and crunchy. His meal was a fettuccine jambalaya, he gets this meal most of the time because he enjoys the flavour very much and it comes with shrimp, chicken and sausages. This plate is huge and my bf can never end it because of how big it is, he always needs to ask for a container so we can take it home. Like I said, we go to this place very often but it's a good choice if you want to hang out with your friends or even go for the first time with your family, a first date or something similar.
Is a good place to birthday and meetings because of an exclusive event area, but, sincerely the Brazilian community call it “bosta pizza”, cause the pizza is mediocre, and the appetizers overpriced and nothing exceptional. Try the others.
First of all, I am the last person to complain or write bad reviews about service, but I had to after my experience here: -immediately greeted at the front, and brought to our table. No mention of happy hour or providing a menu for it, and no offer to start drinks. -probably waited ten minutes before someone came to even greet us at our table. The server just asked if we were ready to order. I had to ask about if there was a happy hour, and they said there was and they went off to get me a menu, further delaying things. -then the food eventually came, and it was cold. I am not a karen and I don’t care about burning hot fresh from the oven food; I just expect it to be at least warm. Imagine cooking some chicken at home, and then leaving it on your table for 30 minutes. It was like that, no semblance of heat. -then to top it all off, they didn’t come to ask how our first bites were, and they didn’t even come at all to even check on us. Not even once. Not to ask how the food was, not to offer drink refills, nothing. Just came back at the very end once they saw our food was complete, just to quickly offer a refill and then give the bill. I am not a fan of writing bad reviews, but the lack of service especially combined with the lack of customer traffic at the time was super disappointing. There were two people waiting tables here. Very efficient service without any actual customer service; it’s sad when people are asked to tip at minimum 15%. Suggestions: -the moment someone is seated, or quickly after, ask if the customer can get a drink started for them. -if there’s specials, inform the customer and offer the happy hour menu, at the start. -maybe come to take the order a bit faster. -ensure food comes out hot and fresh, or at the very least, a warm enough temperature that you can discern it from the ambient air temperature. -come back at least twice during the dining experience: once within a couple minutes to ask how the first bites are going, and again sometime in the middle to offer refills of drinks.
Went at about 2 pm. Waited 45 minutes for out meal, I ordered a French onion soup which barely had cheese on it. And my fiancés Boston Royale came out with soo many toppings and on top of that they were raw. However the manager was very great about it and rectified it, giving us a portion of our bill on the house.
One star for nice server. Food is not good very processed and like eating a frozen dinner. Sugary sweet pizza sauce, and just not a great taste. Not to mention very dismal and dated ambiance. Worst meal I have had in a long time - how are they in business? One and done.
I was never served on my visit. When I walked in, someone greeted and sat me very quickly and handed me the menu. From that point, about 20 minutes went by sitting there and I didn't even see a server in the section I was in. There were 4 employees behind the bar area, that often walked back and forth between the back kitchen area and the bar, but none of them ever approached me. I did every thing I could to show I was ready - I closed the menu and made eye contact with them numerous times, but they never came over. Eventually I put on my coat and left - I don't even think they noticed a customer was leaving.
