I couldn’t stop myself to grab my phone and come here to leave a comment, while eating. I just want to say thank you to all the people working for this store, your products are AMAZING. I got a slice of daily pizza, Lobster tail and pasticciotto. Each of them was perfectly baked, and everything ingredients, the sauce, ham, the cream inside the pastries was all fresh and flavourful. I will definitely come back here to try more food! Thank you so much.

We bought canoli with ricotta cream and orange rind, lobstertail croissant filled with Nutella cream and Lip smacking Funghi sandwich from Deli. We loved all three items that we took for picnic on Quay side. We will definitely be back for picnic charcuterie, pizzas and more amazing food.

Soooo delicious It was my first time trying a robster tail, but it is now one of the best pastries I've ever tried! crispy, sweet, and fresh... thanks for bringing me happiness!!

Nice little shop serving fantastic sandwiches made with imported Italian ingredients. You can see all the types of meat available on display. Had the ottima prosciutto with pecorino cream and truffle sauce... It was so damn good. Reminds me that we have to remember to appreciate quality over quantity sometimes. They also serve Italian branded coffee. Friendly staff. The sandwich shop across the street has some serious competition. Go check it out.

Such an amazing experience! Filled the gap what was missing in New West. Sandwiches are very tasty and good selection of products. Please keep the quality forever as this is definitely the selling point

After two failed attempts to make it down to New West’s newest eatery before they sold out each day, I decided to beat the clock and take an early lunch today and I was not disappointed. GASTRONOMIA! The store is just lovely. You are literally transported into the hustle and bustle of a deli or bakery lining the streets of Italy and the smells are heavenly. There are a bunch of sandwiches to choose from. Today I went with the Fresco. Prosciutto with Burrata and a Basil Pesto. Ingredients so simple that they have to be amazing to make this sandwich stand out… and it does. What this sandwich taught me was that the Western culture draws on size and value when it comes to food more times then not. The smaller drops of Basil Pesto that dot the sandwich make you appreciate them so much more once you hit one! It was simple yet simply delicious. I have honestly never had a sandwich made like this and the bread was something I will dream about. It was perfection. Highly recommend it. The Potato pizza had just come out of the oven and I got to watch them assemble it. The gentleman was a literal master, almost like an artist with the care he put into decorating this pizza with its toppings. The thinly sliced potatoes were baked onto the gorgeous focaccia and then he laid down some beautiful white soft cheese and then a layer of truffle and ended with a drizzle of olive oil… the aroma was to die for. This is something that I have no regrets trying. Sometimes you have to get out of your comfort zone and try things that you never would have otherwise. It was an experience for sure. Loved it. There are also isles and isles of Italian delicacies and the desserts looked amazing as well but I will save them for next time! Do yourself a favor, come for an early lunch during the week as they sell out! Great location, good parking and right on the strip. Welcome to the neighborhood Gastronomia!

Very tasty sandwich! The Fresca was delicious and had high quality ingredients. It was soooooo busy and I was lucky enough to get a sandwich before they sold out! I also brought home a tiramisu for my partner and it was so light and perfectly sweet. Should have bought more… I will definitely come back to try their pizza Romano ran out as well. They just opened this week I think? I hope they will have enough pizza and sandwiches next time. Prices are reasonable given the quality of their products.

Fresh and delicious sandwiches and pizza are our go to. Their incredible selection of imported oils, vinegars, dry-goods and preserves kick up our home cooking to authentic levels! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, happy to make suggestions and offer samples when available.

I wandered in here at lunch time to discover that they were selling fresh sandwiches and pizza. By recommendation, I ordered the Mortazza sandwich, which contained mortadella, burrata cheese, and pistacchio pesto. It was excellent. The bread was clearly freshly made. It was fresh, light, and the burrata was especially delicious. Easily one of the best sandwiches I have had in Vancouver. My hands were drenched in oil from the bread, but it was absolutely worth it.

Stopped in Thursday & enjoyed an amazing Sandwich Leccese and shared the Cannoli & Pasticciotto for dessert with my friend. Everything was stunning. A little jewel tucked away in New Westminster on Columbia. Go in and try something. You won't be disappointed.
