Gino's Restaurant

First time heading to Gino's, seems to be a local favorite and hosted many large families. This didn't delay our server to make sure we were taken care of - great service. Ordered the calamari, beef soulvaki, roast lamb and Gino burger. Good food on a budget, all were good but the roast lamb is more on the fatty side for those wondering. They do have lots of daily specials like soulvaki on Thursdays for 15.95. Nice spot and will head over again to try the pizza and pasta.

The day we came to visit, the restaurant was quite busy but that didn't stop the servers from doing a fantastic job attending our table. The pizza, calamari and baked pasta we ordered were terrific and they capped our night off by offering us complimentary cake. Totally looking forward to my next visit here!

Nice time here last night. Enjoyed the food very much and the servers were really friendly. We had the kalamari as well as the scallops and bacon appetizer. Both were great. Kalamari had a nice crunchy batter and soft squid. Scallop was very tender. Had the roast lamb dinner and can't really go wrong with this item. Fall-off-the-bone lamb that's also still very juicy and packed with flavor. Their tzatziki sauce is great too along with the pita bread. Nice time here overall and would come back in the future.

Finally got to checkout Gino’s and had dinner from their dine out Vancouver menu. The service was prompt, the food was made fresh and just delicious. The portion size is really good and enjoyed our meals so much. The place is a bit busy but the service was on spot. The pita seemed fresh from the oven and hummus, tzatziki were just yum! Chicken souvlaki and roast lamb tasted perfect, the rice pilaf and potato were equally good. Highly recommend checking this place out. Will definitely be going back again. Lots of paid parking available right outside on the street.

We went for the Dine Out special . Absolutely fabulous food and service thanks Lexi Highly recommended. We shared the meat lovers pizza and lasagne, both were excellent. We also got some hummus to go . We will definitely be back !!

Went there for their Thurs night Roast lamb special and oh was it very scrumptious; Well-seasoned roasted potatoes, citrusy crispy Greek salad and rice pilaf, and THE meaty lamb shoulder!!! Such a good deal $14.95 from $19.95 regular price :D Gino's is our go-to place in New West for our Greek cravings in a budget. There are other options other than Roast Lamb for their Thurs deal! Highly commendable!

Loved food and customer service! Their food was absolutely delicious we asked them if they can make lasagna and pizza for vegetarians, they were willing to make exactly what we want. Thank you so much.

We went on a Friday evening, and the place was packed, so there are clearly loads of people who love this place, but my six-year-old and I were pretty disappointed, mainly on account of the food not being very good. Eager to try "Greek pizza," that's what we ordered, and it turned out to be very American pizza, extremely heavy on the cheese which then turns the crust soggy. If you're into that sort of pizza, you'll likely be happy with the generous portions, but the sauce is quite bland although you can see there's oregano in it that you somehow can't taste. Personally, I'd have been happier with less food made with better ingredients and more care, but clearly others disagree. Service is friendly enough, but the sort of friendly that still loses your reservation, sets your table for one rather than two, brings your appetizer and main course right on top of each other, and never offers to refill your coffee. Having written this, the waitstaff seem to be doing their best, but are likely just overwhelmed, as the same lady who took our reservation also took our order and cleared another table. It's very loud, in there, as well, and there are a lot of hard surfaces, so the sound echoes. Kid's succinct review is: "Pizza not good."

Friendly staff, awesome food, full of happy people enjoying life as it should be. I strongly recommend visiting this great place.

Enjoyable, friendly family atmosphere, with great food and reasonable prices. We loved the place and will be back again.
