This is a nice cozy restaurant on Fraser that features a unique floral decor. The space is unique, the music is recent pop, and the ambiance is nice. The menu isn’t very extensive for a Vietnamese-style restaurant, but there is an extensive cocktails menu. The cocktails are good, the food is good, and the service is good as well. The only critique I have is the portions are not as big. You are definitely paying for the quality of ingredients, as witnessed in their pho. You are getting a whole ton of quality meat, but if you’re used to large bowls, you won’t get that. Definitely a fun place to check out. Would definitely recommend coming for a quick bite or cocktails.
Beautiful decoration and good location but there is nothing special about their foods. The honey garlic chicken wings and spring rolls are so dry. The peanut sauce for the fresh rolls is not good, too. It's not an authentic Vietnamese foods. This place is only good for pictorial purposes. . I just want to thank the server for being so nice and funny. I don't think we are going back.
I really like the ambiance of this restaurant, I think that is one of the reason that I decided to give it a try. Also, I love Vietnamese food so I had to visit and see if this is truly worth it. We came on a early afternoon, I would say it was quite around the lunch time still so it was fairly busy. We had a table after 5 minutes but it was at the bar, we ended up requesting a table and we got it very quickly. They were super accommodating. As expected, I really liked the interior and the atmosphere. The music is very nice, the servers are also very polite and sweet. On my end I didn't really felt rushed. The waiting time for my food was the part which was a longer than expected. So I was glad that I ordered a drink. The drink was okay, I guess maybe if I tried different one I would've have a different experience but it wasn't horrible. When we received the food, I knew this is going to be tasty. I really enjoyed my Pho and I don't have anything else to say. I also got to taste the spring rolls ... And I must say, the spring rolls were my favorite part of what I have ordered. Overall I would say this is a place to enjoy food and ambiance. I don't think this is the best place ever in Vancouver for food but this is still worth to try at least once. My four instead of five is due to the price being on the expensive side. Enjoy~
This place is just perfect, highly recommended, severs are one of the friendliest I've seen, food are beyond words. I took my mom there the first time, we tried a lot of Vietnamese Pho from other restaurant. But this one, my mom keep telling me to come back for more. Cocktails are very creative as well. Mom is not a drinker but she enjoys her Last Empress, I like Sunset Kiss more. But the very special one that we will definitely will have to try is the Tipsy, it looks amazing. This will go on my list of restaurant to go for on a fun Saturday night for sure
Pretty, vibrant interior decor. Good place to hang out with friends and have a cocktail, take pictures for the 'gram. Their food seems more expensive than other pho places, but tasted better than average. Definitely a unique vibe. I prefer a simpler place for pho at a lower price, but if you prefer a good balance between food quality and the atmosphere, worth giving it a try.
The atmosphere of this place is quite fun, vibrant, really good music! Service was okay, I felt bad for the servers because they seemed understaffed so they were running around quite a bit. The beef carpaccio slices were quite thick, I wish they were much thinner. Really loved the grilled while squid. Great place to visit with your girlfriends.
Good dining experience! Beautiful interior. The drinks look pretty but not a must try. Prices of drinks were reasonable! The beef carpaccio was good. The chicken fried rice was good as well!
So happy to have finally visited this place!! It's truly a beautiful dining experience. Bonus is that food is as good as the place looks! I started with a non-alcoholic drink, something in paradise? Sorry I forgot but it was passionfruit with pea tip, and it was a tart refreshing drink! We ordered the Beef carpaccio $19 to share and it was a nice starter, with good flavors. Then we had the Fine Vermicelli $23 which was with lemongrass beef. I was surprised to see that the beef is wrapped around a sprig of lemongrass! It's the first time I've seen it done this way, and it was delicious! I honestly didn't know how to approach this dish though, was I supposed to wrap it? Eat it all separate? It was a fun meal nonetheless! My friend had the vermicelli $22 which was recommended by our waitress, this is regular vermicelli with chicken/tofu he chose tofu. It looked quite good and I heard no complaints about the dish. Overall it was a great experience, though the table we were at was definitely not long-legged-people friendly, my friend didn't know there to put her legs under the little table! The food comes in sensible portions, I was pretty stuffed from it though. And just being in the restaurant itself, was a beautiful experience.
It was good. But nothing crazy for me to beg me to come back. It was not amazing, and I was a little let down. But the setting is why you go here, which is to take photos. It is not your typical Vietnamese joint, you come here with your friends and drink expensive cocktails. My cocktail was around 16-18 dollars. The customer service was sorta in your face, they rush you to get your drinks and orders, constantly checking how we are doing when it was unasked.
Good! It was our first time visiting here last night thanks to my Vietnamese friend’s recommendation. The interior decoration is obviously very cute and eye catching—the colours and the lighting definitely add to a fun/hip atmosphere! Service is really pleasant as well. Multiple servers checked up on us, and I thought it was sweet that they try to address you by your name! The food is good, although imo the flavours are a bit on the heavier side. For example I wished the papaya salad had less dressing to taste more refreshing; and perhaps they would offer lime wedges for our pho I’m sure they’d give me a few if I had asked. We only ordered beers but the drinks do all look really good! Overall, everything was good but I do think the prices are priced higher than its value… nonetheless I would still come back again to try more things on their menu!
