Bon Cafe

My go to place for Vietnamese food for years! Kind staff. I ask for many substitutions trying to be "healthy" and have less carbs and they are always so responsive. E.g. I get the lemongrass chicken vermicelli without vermicelli and get extra veggies instead.

Bon Cafe is a relatively small casual Vietnamese noodle house. Street parking along Main and E 33rd Avenue. It is a fairly small restaurant, packed with long tables and chairs. Very tight to move around in the restaurant. The food was good, especially their spring rolls. A good eatery to have a good bowel of noodle soup.

Classic mom & pop shop on Main Street. The interior is very simple, the front looks very dated. However, their food is delicious and affordable. I have gone in four times to order some banh mi but was told twice that they were out of bread :

Great Banh Mi selection and so cheap as well. Great to support a small independent business on Main Street. Strongly encourage others to do the same.

Food always tastes great! Service is fast.

Decent pho, quality beef

Great little neighbourhood restaurant. Beef stew was fantastic. Small portion of meat in the chicken sub. Pho is really tasty though as well. Ordered for takeout.
