LOVE at first bite! I first tried them when I came across their food truck and fell in love with their creations immediately!! I’ve tried most, if not all of their menu items and there isn’t a single item I wouldn’t order again. My kids are picky eaters but even they’re obsessed with everything Shameless! Their favourites are Sausage Party, Filipino Spaghetti Lumpia, Ice Candy and Happy Ending which we always order. My personal favourites are honestly everything. I can’t pick one burger/sandwhich over another because every single one I’ve tried, I’ve loved. I love how they’re all juicy and flavourful. I just order them on rotation during our visits because they are filling. Their housemade sauces are delicious and can be purchased for you to bring home. If you love Filipino food and being in a fun atmosphere, this place is a must. The owners are awesome and super sweet, staff super friendly and we always leave with our bellies full and a happy heart.
Absolutely the most amazing “breakfast sandwich” I’ve ever eaten. The sausage and slaw combo is brilliant. I go to the farmer’s market specifically for these folks. Would give six stars if possible. Quick and inexpensive also.
Just tried their spaghetti lumpia from the Shameless Buns food truck. Definitely a unique experience. I didn’t realize the lumpia was one large spring roll, was expecting smaller spring rolls. I should have looked closer at the menu and saw there was no quantity next to the item :. The spring roll was made perfectly, crispy outside and hot inside, couldn’t eat it for awhile as it was too hot! Yummy but a little too much for me, would have preferred if they were the smaller spring roll size. I will need to come back and try some of their other menu items!
It is a small place, but a great experience. The steak flavour was great, party sausage was better though. Worth trying, the sauce on both meal was so nice.
If you’ve ever had filipino food you know it’s heavy on the stomach and although shameless buns sandwich looks small and harmless you will be full! I got the not your Lola’s chicken adobo sandwich combo with the sinigang fries and it was delicious! At first when you take a bite of the sandwich it might be overwhelming, but once you let it settle in it tastes amazing and all the savoury tangy flavours melt in your mouth. I would like to try the palabok fries next time as I thought the sinigang fries were a bit on the saltier side. I think Shameless buns is a great intro to Filipino flavours and also a great snack to have if you love Filipino food! If you’ve ever seen their food truck then you’ll notice that normally at the end of the night they are sold out of everything so definitely try it out if what you want is available.
- "the little sausage" sandwich = $10 - - adobo fries = $15 - Chungry Rating = 9/10 Shameless Buns just opened their first brick and mortar store on Fraser Street and you bet I was there opening day to give them a try! If you've never heard of them before, Shameless Buns is known for their Filipino-inspired sandwiches, sinigang fries, and other goodies. On their menu, you'll still find your classic chicken adobo, crispy Spam, and longaniza sausages, but they've put in their own unique twist and repackaged them into something new, yet still familiar. Everything looked so good, but we ended up going with "The Little Sausage" sandwich and the Adobo Fries. Inside of "The Little Sausage's" nice and toasted bun, you'll find some longaniza sausage and atchara pickled papaya slaw. I really enjoyed the sweet and spicy flavour profile of the longaniza. It was complemented nicely by the atchara, which gave the sandwich the perfect amount of acidity and crunch. I can't forget to mention their house-made banana ketchup and sriracha mayo! And that egg and fried garlic? So damn good! While I thought the sandwich would be bigger, each bite was jam-packed with flavour. As you can see in the pictures, their Adobo Fries are fully loaded. - Slow braised chicken adobo? Check . - Crispy sinigang fries? Check . I found the fries super interesting! They're savoury and tangy, kind of like salt and vinegar chips, and they loaded that box uppp! They don't hold back on the toppings either. You get tomato, green onion, fried garlic, and a nice drizzle of their garlic calamansi aioli on top. The tanginess of the fries was very strong in the first few bites, but as I worked my way through the box, the toppings and the aioli helped to mellow out some of the acidity. Overall, I really enjoyed everything I tried, and I can't wait to visit again to finally try their spam fries and spaghetti lumpia
So good! The food was flavourful and delicious, and the service was friendly and so welcoming. It was so nice to meet Corvette and her mom, and hear about all the personal touches on the mural. Thanks for the trip to flavourtown Food: 5/5
I had the double longanisa burger it was a weekend special and it was really great. This isn't your standard burger, mind you. The bun is a pandesal bun so it's not as robust as a regular burger bun. That means it soaks up a lot of the juices from the burger and gets a bit soggy. I did like the taste of it though with the patty and sauce. The longanisa patties had a slight sweetness to it which I liked. The sauce and veggies radish? worked well together too with the burger. Also got sinigang fries which were outstanding. Perfectly crisp and tasted great with the sinigang seasoning.
We used Shameless Buns after them being recommended by so many people for a grand opening at one of my stores and I must say it was amazing! What a great decision! Everyone was so thoroughly impressed by all the options they had for us and my personal favorite was the salt and vinegar French fries! We will be having them come back for our next event, but I will be sure to track them down as I already feel the need for another plate of those delicious fries!
We ordered the chicken sandwich and side of salt& vinegar fries. This was the best fries I ever had in my life. We then again ordered full size of fries . My partner mentioned the chicken was super good as well
