I wouldn’t say anything was bad or poor here, but nothing really stood out to me either. In fairness I don’t think I am the target audience. Definitely a place for the younger crowd and perhaps a more western crowd. Great place to try some popular Korean dishes at great portions and reasonable prices.

Great spot with 30% off for takeout orderscash only. Perfect takeout packages! Bentos include jokbal, banchan, rice, and come with a side soup and fresh lettuce and garlic slices for Ssam! Love the care and thought that went behind constructing this plate! The jokbal was so perfectly tender and chewy. The spicy jokbal has just the right balance of flavors. The kimchi however was too sweet and needed more of the pungent fish sauce saltiness/savory notes to balance the sweetness from the jokbal marinade. The underwhelming kimchi steals away one star but otherwise this place is great!

Tried their takeout during 30% off with cash payment. My friends and I absolutely loved the food! Their pork belly is mouth watering. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back for more! ++

It was my second time at Bobooya and the experience was pleasant. My first experience was when I tried their jokbal take-out service and I liked it, so I decided to try the dine-in service this time. The servers were very friendly and the food was exceptional. I would definitely visit them again!

Can’t highly recommend Bobooya enough!! I ordered the BBQ Bossam meal as pictured which was extremely high quality, delicious, and excellent value for the price. It was my first time eating here based on the good google reviews, and it certainly won’t be my last!

Ordered garlic jokbalpork hock. It comes with various toppings green onion, garlic, kimchi, spicy paste, marinated shrimp...and they were all very delicious and fresh. The takeout meal is fully sealed which is very ideal for transporting during pandemic. The portion for pork hock is pretty good that it could probably serve 2-3ppl. Would definitely recommend this place!

Found a new place to get budae jjigae and the side dish of the kimchi and green onion was really good. More on the sweet side than acidic. They also gave us complimentary garlic sliced pork which was v savoury/sweet. Service is also v nice and friendly :

I had to check them out after seeing an Instagram promotion of 30% off of you pay by cash. The jokbal bento was tasty but the photos on Instagram had more meat compared to what i got.

I got spicy jokbal and Bobooya bossam with the side of joomukbab for four people. The dishes were excellent! I thought that both the taste and portion were very decent for the price. I also liked their personal side dish packs that we got for everyone in the group. With each of us with our own side dishes and Korean condiments, sharing the takeout food was easy and it felt clean. My only feedback to the restaurant staff is for them to sell soup that complement bossam and jokbal. As pork-based dishes, they are oily and it's hard to keep the same good taste until the last piece. Something refreshing to help diners reset their taste bud would be great!

overall good soft pork, what we ordered was pretty mild and would recommend to ask for a lot of lettuce. 2 medium meals good enough for 3 ppl.
