Decent store at a convenient location! It can be slightly pricier but thats the price you pay for location. They also have bbq chicken store in the second floor. They have very few parking in the back.
Cute little asian grocery store with your essential asian groceries and a small selection of ready foods that go on sale everyday at 6pm for good prices. The produce is usually pricey but the rest of it is decent
Small nice Korean supermarket with great variety of asian products. Very convenient location. Staff are very friendly and courteous.
Great store, that has a surprisingly wide variety of products for such a small space. They also sell prepared food for the go, including some pastries and sandwiches from neighboring bakeries and restaurants. Which I thought is a really cool idea. I do think the prices are a bit higher than if you go to a less "fashionable" Asian grocery store off the main street, but this place is definitely convenient and has a nice atmosphere. The cashiers I've met were all very friendly and kind.
Price is higher but understandable given the location of the market. There is a take out restaurant upstairs and they sell Korean Fried Chicken. The chicken is amazing but the second last time I came, I had such a hard time, the woman ended up arguing with me telling me to pay more for something I didn't order. The last time I came a few days ago, the gentleman who cashed me didn't give me my receipt. He just walked away after seeing my card went through. When my order was completed, a woman asked me for my receipt. I told heri was never given one. She held on to my order for a good 5-7 minutes asking all the staff around if I actually placed an order and asked them what I ordered before handing me my order. Always something with the staff. Never the food.
M2M is good for Asian food specialities focusing on Korean items. But its food service upstairs is the reason I come to this shop. The grocery section has food items that are rarely found anywhere else except in Korean shops. Such as Honey Butter Chips interesting though relatively pricey. There are other food items like ready to cook Korean dishes and ready to eat prepared food, for example gimbap, which most non-Koreans would call a sushi roll. There is a selection of more day to day veggies and fruits but it costs more than at No Frills. But if you are there around lunch time then walk up the stairs beside the cashiers to the food service counter M2M Deli, K2GO and say hello to the friendly ladies. The available items are on posters and TV screens. The prices most around $8 are reasonable for the portion sizes and the dishes make for satisfying meals. I tend to order Pork Donkatsu, which with the crispy pork and tangy sauce is not too far off from way more expensive sit down places. I get a tiny bit of kimchee, some salad, glass noodles and soup with it. My second choice is Beef Bulgogi. There is very limited seating up there maybe 4 seats along the counter and sometimes 2 at a little table so take out is probably a good idea although they do have a water cooler. And sitting outside enjoying your meal on a nice summer day is better than inside at McD's. Update February 2019: There are updated screens showing the current selection of dishes and some new ones have been added. You can still get a reasonably sized and tasty meal for $8 which is amongst the lowest price you can find find for a lunch beyond pizza slices and sandwiches unless you have a McD coupon. There's only seating along the counter now, so let's say hello if we end up seated next to each other.
Why are korean supermarkets so awesome???? This one is a little smaller but they still have a variety of things to buy. Upstairs they have the famous bbq chicken and other korean street food. A little hidden gem here.
It's a good korean store with wide variety of authentic korean products from Khimchi , vegetables, seafood, prepared foods, snacks, bakery, sauces , rice, flour & all kinds of important essentials too, it's a one stop shop for all kitchen requirements, along with this you also have the famous bb.q chicken centre in 1st floor which gives u an additional reason to visit this shop. Only problem is that the wait period at bb.q center is very high as they give priority to online app orders rather to customers visiting at d store. Yesterday evening I had just ordered a boneless Half-HalfGolden fried & secret spicyin the store & it took 39 mins for me to receive my order after regular follow upif I would have not followed up, I would have waited there a whole day as they dont give any importance to inhouse customers.
I love coming here, their sales are always a great deal. The store is really small and cramped, but if you come during off peak hours it's a comfortable shop. The produce is fresh and the quality of their meat and seafood is incredible.
Amazingly delicious food! Please open a branch in Yonge and Eglinton we need a Korean grocery store and delicious treats
