Black's Photography

Never purchase extended warranty from Black's as its a scam. I sent my camera in for warranty through this store. I found out it had been sitting in the store for 8 weeks and no one bothered to send it out for warranty. They denied this error, which was either a blatant lie or ignorance. It doesn't take a detective to notice that the Black's box that it was sent in didn't even have the tape broken. Also no information about shipping whatsoever. Usually you need an address when you ship something.. I will never shop at or recommend this store to anyone again. Will go to Pond's downtown from now on, much better store, where they know their stuff.

Have ordered prints here twice online - both times were a negative customer service experience. Most recently, we went to pick up the prints and the service person was very unfriendly. She tried to make me pay (I had already paid online), and one of the 10x15 photographs we were given was not ours. When we went back, they started to reprint our photo, which was fine, but then we had to ask them several times to find our original - she finally did and it was in someone else's folder to be picked up (it was a 10x15 so relatively easy to locate in their pick up drawer - we don't really want our personal photos being given to other people!). The printing was done fast and is decent quality, but we are going to try somewhere else (Pond's Foto - probably better to support local business anyways).
