Lovely, warm service from the minute you step in until you leave. Very spacious dining area with a rustic, modern chic design. Good selection of food and beverages on the menu. Nice, big terrace, too, which was closed for the season, but we have dined there numerous times. Quality of food and service have been consistently excellent throughout the years. Thanks for a relaxing afternoon with casual eats and wine before heading over to the One World Bazaar!

A good friend and I had lunch at the Dog a couple of weeks ago. The place was busy, we were greeted right away and brought to our table. Our server was excellent, Nicola Nicky, was very patient as we asked many questions about the menu. Nicky was awesome! Great service! Highly recommend.

The food was absolutely delicious however it took some time, worth the wait though. Friendly servers and relaxed atmosphere. We were there around 3pm for lunch.

It’s always a great experience going to Black Dog Bistro. Delicious food, great service, and to me the desserts are always the highlight.nnMy partner and I ordered the lobster mac and cheese and cajun salmon salad. I don’t normally order a salad when I go out, but this one is completely worth it. Every bite was heaven.nnFor dessert we ordered the chocolate peanut butter cup and coconut cream pie. The coconut cream pie is always my go to dessert, amazing and flavourful every time. The chocolate peanut butter cup is light and airy. Love coming here.

In quaint Manotick there's a place called the Black Dog and they serve a great meal. Service was pretty amazing and the atmosphere relaxed and cozy. We sat on the patio, enjoyed the food and the music they were playing in the background. This was fun.
