Lovely, warm service from the minute you step in until you leave. Very spacious dining area with a rustic, modern chic design. Good selection of food and beverages on the menu. Nice, big terrace, too, which was closed for the season, but we have dined there numerous times. Quality of food and service have been consistently excellent throughout the years. Thanks for a relaxing afternoon with casual eats and wine before heading over to the One World Bazaar!

In quaint Manotick there's a place called the Black Dog and they serve a great meal. Service was pretty amazing and the atmosphere relaxed and cozy. We sat on the patio, enjoyed the food and the music they were playing in the background. This was fun.

Nice spot with a spacious dining room that somehow still feels cozy. Great selection of dishes that run the gamut for a variety of tastes Beef, Chicken, Fish and Vegetarian. Interesting cocktails and a decent selection of local craft beers. Excellent service! Steak sandwich pictured

It was busy on a Thursday night but managed to get seats at the bar. Steak tartar was awesome and the Charcuterie was great. The bartender was friendly and on point and the atmosphere was quite nice. Zero complaints!

I’ve eaten here several times and unfortunately the food quality really is declining. The mushroom tartar was kind of gross actually. Cold mushroom with cold grated cheese, and really no flavor. The Mac’n Cheese similarly lacked any real flavor and was served with a lacklustre handful of greens. The Spicey Ceaser drink was the highlight of the meal.nnI dined on a Monday night, with a reservation, and it was really busy. Glad we had a reso. But service was painfully slow.nnOverall, I wouldn’t recommend. If you’re a fan of mushrooms, try Brassica! They have the best mushrooms on toast I’ve ever tasted.
