I am at times a “difficult customer"... I realize that. However after this morning, I need to say,  MASSIVE shout-out to Raúl and Kylee for going above and beyond call of duty, to assist me with a technical concern I had on Saturday morning. Thank you guys. I really appreciate it.

I bought my truck from Birchwood Food back in late 2014 and had a great experience dealing with Dean Kamstra. However, I was recently contacted by this dealership advising that my vehicle was coming off warranty and that I should book an appointment to have the vehicle gone over. After receiving the call, I was pleased and felt the dealership really followed up with it’s customers ensuring that should any warranty repairs be required they could be done. I booked an appointment and was told I would need to leave my truck for the day. On the day of my appointment I arrived 15 minutes’ prior however ended up having to wait in line. After waiting for 20 minutes I attended to the fleet service desk, apparently the wrong desk and was told to wait outside. I then waited for another 15 minutes until I was approached and told to leave the vehicle outside and attend to the service desk.

After finally speaking with a service representative and confirming my appointment I was told I was booked for an oil change. I explained what I had been contacted for by the dealership, and that the appointment was to have my truck looked at as is was coming off warranty. I was told that they don’t perform that service despite being told the day before that they did. Service staff then advised me I had been contacted and booked by the call centre and that the only time the vehicle gets looked over is when a complete service with oil change is performed. 

I explained that I was not in need of an oil change as it had recently been completed, at which time I was advised that unless I wanted to pay a complete service including an oil change that to come back when I was ready to do so.

I was extremely disappointed by the dealership, first off by booking an appointment arranging to be without a vehicle for the day and upon being early for the appointment to drop it off needing to wait an additional 15 min past the appointment time. Then after waiting only to be told that the dealership wouldn’t go over the vehicle without oil change and told to come back another day.

This is frustrating as I spoke with staff on the phone and was clearly mislead as to what service was being provided.

The dealership wasted my time, it was a total inconvenience and I will not be using your service centre in the future.

Everyone was very helpful , very friendly  ad  showed me that my best interest was theirs too and they were going to do their best to get me what I wanted. Every thing was explained in detail, ad the whole experience  was comfortable, ad not too overwhelming. Thank you very much for making my experience, easy , non stressful ad driving a great car !
