Worst experience I have ever encountered in getting jewelry repair. Unfortunately I had to give it a one star rating as the field can't be left blank. If you are thinking on bringing your jewelry in for repair, let me give you some valuable advice that will save you a massive headache. Make sure that what you are requesting to get done, they will put in writing. I brought in jewelry in for repair. Among the repairs, I also had a chain where I wanted an ESTIMATE of the cost to have the links inspected. Since the owner wasn't onsite, I was told to leave the chain with them and they would contact me with the estimate. No phones calls came in and when I went to pick up my jewelry, the clerk tells me they had made repairs to the chain without my authorization since I never received a call. Not only did they repair without my consent but then expected me to pay for it. Once again the owner was not onsite and I had to go through a huge argument with him over the phone to explain that they had messed up the order. I requested an ESTIMATE, not getting work done on the chain. A very unpleasant situation to say the least. Then when I thought it couldn't get worst, the owner goes on to tell me that If I wasn't going to pay for the work he did I had to leave my chain with the clerk since he wasn't there and that he'd ''fix'' the situation when he'd be in. When I asked how he could fix it, he responds ''I'll put the chain back to what it was''. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. ''Are you serious I said?? Yeah right! I'll leave you the chain so you can ''undo'' what it is you did with me not even knowing what that was? '' Just unreal!! I was on the phone for 20 mins arguing until the owner finally agreed to wave the fees. Here's the catch though, he ended up charging me more on the work he did on my other pieces. I simply gave up at that point. Paid the bill and promised myself to never go back. These guys are thieves and should not be in business. Like I mentioned earlier.... if you bring anything in, please make sure you get everything in writing before you leave the store. Trust me, you will save yourself from a very frustrating and stressful situation. There is enough stress in everyday life, noone should have to go through this.
