Big Olive Taverna Restaurant

Waitress was nice but the food was not good. The spanakopita and the Zucchini sticks were dripping in oil and felt like old food heated up. The two dishes with 1 drink came to $50 before tip. Even after the waitress was made aware that the food was not edible along with the rice under the zucchini sticks and spanakopita were also oily. I love Greek food but this restaurant was huge disappointment.

We ordered the Salmon and Vegetarian Lasagna. The Salmon was on salty side. They add a butter cream that’s really salty. The Lasagna only has cheese, tomato sauce and Lasagna. No Veg’s. Great ambience

My Greek Taverna in Surrey is the only place I would recommend you go to if you are craving Greek food. My son loves their Greek salad and their beef skewers are so tender and juicy this is a must try!. Their shrimp skewers are always perfectly cooked. They consistently deliver the best dishes no matter what I order. The owners are very hands-on and you'll always get a warm service when you're there. If you're looking to support local, they're a family owned business you'd be proud to have in your neighborhood.

We tried My Greek Taverna for the first time tonight and were both impressed. I had the chicken and beef souvlaki and my wife had the moussaka and both dishes were excellent. Food was delicious! I was brought here with a friend since I wanted Greek food and wow the lamb shoulder was SOO good. Also had some chicken souvlaki which was really good. Great portion sizes. The humus was good but i love garlic and feel it needed a little more. I still ate it up lol. I'll be returning very soon FOR SURE!Food: 5/5

This was our first time here and we were very impressed. Food was amazing! Some of the best Greek food we've ever had. Service was awesome! It was our Anniversary and even the other waitress that wasn't helping us came by to say Happy Anniversary. We will definitely be going back soon.

They were able to accommodate my food restrictions altering the Greek salad by not including tomatoes or cheese and putting the dressing on the side. I still had a full salad with chicken. It was delicious!Food: 4/5

I love this Greek restaurant. Tastes amazing, you get a big amount of food compared to other Greek restaurants and the price is good too. Highly recommend!

Loved the food! Authentic! Chefs worked carefully to provide that Greek touch in Canada. The portions were fairly good for the prices, especially the sidings. The staff is friendly too. Overall ambience of the restaurant is also very nice.
