Big Boy Shawarma

Big Boy Shawarma used to be located in the shopping mall in Hawkesbury on Route 17. I just discovered that they have relocated to a food truck across the street, next to the Esso and the Wine Makers store. And here I thought it was just some hot dog or taco truck. I have not tried the meals from their food truck, and it looks like they plan to close during the winter months so will be closed (at least temporarily) by end of October 2017. But when they were in the mall location, they were pretty good. I used to buy the chicken meals (shish taouk) and the spicy potatoes. I don't know of another restaurant in the area that serves Middle Eastern cuisine. So if you can't find a nearby Amir or Basha, drop by this food truck. Plan to stop by next spring if they are open again, now that I know they are there.

Really great staff. Terrific food and prompted us about the kids eat free promotion.
