Le Vieux Chateau Restaurant

Ordered a few times from here so far for delivery and the price does not match the quantity/quality. $15 for this portion size of calamari is disappointing, and the sauce should be a tzatziki instead of sweet chili. Thankfully, I’m one that prefers a sauce instead of no sauce at all, so I’m able to eat it at least. Probably would not try for delivery again.

Keep up the good work, although your mozzarella sticks are cheap and tasteless. If pay more for a better one. They're easily made from scratch at a fraction of the cost.

We usually orders from North End in Cornwall, which they have worked with the previous founder and owners of the Vieux Chateau their pizza's are thick with a lots of toppings when we decided to give a try we tried last time was on July 1st of 2020 the pizza was 1/10 very disapointed this wasnt up to my standard. When i ordered this one my bf went to pick it up it was 1 inch of cheese and a paper thin pizza no dough almost and too much sauce like way too much. The standards from previous owners for pizza was way different ingredients changed very cheap. Also the chef that has worked there for 25 years quit so things changes and the food standards are not what they used too.nnThey should go back to the old recipes.nAlso Mario should be rehire to put this kitchen in order!!nTheir soups,sauces everything was top notch when Mario was there.nThis is what our pizza looked like.

This place is recognizable and consistent. The menu is varied - in fact there are sure to be options for every taste.nnThe service is always friendly and attentive. It’s always a bonus when a restaurant is able to serve a favourite beer of mine Beau’s Lug Tread.nnThe servings are plentiful and well presented. When serving fish and chips, it would be ideal to have malt vinegar.

I'm putting 2 stars because the waitress was nice. We ordered chicken strips, cheeseburgers and chicken souvlaki. It brought back memories from when we used to go to restaurants that served prepackaged deep fried food, but it never cost this much. The Greek potatoes were so dry, the Cesar salad had no Cesar dressing, it was mayo with bacon bits. The chicken fingers were too small. The burgers were just oddly discolored, no sizzling fat, dry outside which shows that the patties were premade frozen meat. I did enjoy the blueberry cheese cake although it's prepackaged. I also liked the jasmin green tea. The fries were just sad. The place looked nice, but not going back. No pictures since they didn't hit the spot. If you want better food with amazing fries and fresher food, Belle Province is your best bet.
